With today’s puzzle being such an easy test to pass, I’ve decided to take a break and not add my two cents…I’ll just recap. The dialogue: “Three of you” = SOME. “Solve these”, plus “Addition” in the question = SUMS…SOME SUMS!
The Gem? All three of the equations total 1954, the year the Jumble was created.…

Good morning ! It’s Saturday ! When I saw the addition problems that had no answers SUM came to me and that left OESSM , then SOME was there with an extra S that made the addition answers plural ! So I gave it a SUMS up 👍 ! The anagrams were also thumbs up ! Everyone have a great weekend !!!!

Happy Saturday! Unusual for me, I had the cartoon with a blind solve. That helped because I had to back into SYMBOL, because I expected the word to end in -LY…and that threw me off. Happy Cheese Doodle day. Gotta go out and get some Cheetos… Have a great weekend.

Pretty easy Saturday morning….stumbled on UPEND…initially thought it was ENDUP, to no avail, especially since that did not give proper letters for Cartoon Puzzle. A joint blind solve as Marsha said SUM….and I followed with SOME…and we had it. See you on Sunday morning

Symbol gave me reason to pause,but being a math guy,sums along w the rest if the cartoon solution was a quick and easy solve.

I noted that the three sums equal 1954, but I also noted that the tens and units digits of all three summands are 6 and 8. 66 and 88 occur once and 68 and 86 occur twice. So the students did SOME SUMS, and although the students may be summers, IT isn’t SUMMER yet. It just started spring.
So…what are you saying…it doesn’t ADD up? 🤷🏻♀️
No I just wonder why the creators of this Jumble used 6s and 8s for the summand digits.
I guess Jeff was just DRAWN to them…🤷🏻♀️
