Today’s puzzle has me thinking. I’m usually pretty OPEN to new things, but lately I think I’ve been SHUTTING people out. I blame the pandemic…I guess I’m just BOARD. Some days I feel like I’m bouncing off the WAL…NUTs I know, but it’s true. KNOBody knows…But if you LOOK INTO MY EYES, I bet you can tell. I have this PLANK, I mean blank stare…But, I digress…
Ok. Our anagrams: NYEPN…We’ve flipped that one before, in 2015. The others? Brand new. And I didn’t BLINK at any of them. Easily SPELLed…The solve? Easy, breezy too…The KEY? Just seeing that sinister look on the hypnotist’s face…and that door! It’s already put our hapless couple, (he sporting a Jumble SWEATer), into a TRANCE…This solve?…Definitely an OPEN and SHUT case!

All right ! It’s taco-Tuesday ! I love Applebees won ton tacos ! Well, the jumble put a trance on me , so when I got to the door i said ,” PENNY for your thoughts ? The door was a hypnotic FACADE and there was no GROUT showing . Well , I got the answer with no REGRET ! Then I said to the hypnotist “ the other door is the exit , then this one has to be the ENTRANCE.” So we went in , sat down , and after he put us in an hypnotic state , he said “ so tell me , what is tomorrow’s jumble answer ?” Just a quick note , I haven’t smoked cigarettes in about 30 yrs , cause I got hypnotized , it really works ! It’s Wednesday in Old Omaha, too. That is a sinister looking hypnotist and I notice, with the help of magnification, his shoes match his shirt. I’m not sure why that is a Jumble sweatshirt, though. All I could see, with magnification, was an E. I might be more eye weary than I thought. Everything easy peasey today. Hope all is right in the Jumble multiuniverse! Last day of 50s in flyover country with a storm bearing down on Friday. I believe that Screaming Jay Hawkins originated that song but I’ll take CCR any day.
Yes, Jay Hawkins was the first, OO..and I’ve used his version here in the past..so I try to spread the wealth. Plus the screaming kind of grated on my nerves last night. The shirt logo? 🤷🏻♀️ Enjoy the calm before the storm, OO! 🚪🤷🏻♀️
