But Circle got there early, and our guy looks up to SPURN,

Ok..so. With just one repeat anagram this morning, ANDKR from 2019, the words were all easily recognizable. SPURN in fact was just in Friday’s puzzle! As for the solve…With the Circle saying “Don’t mind me”, and being ROUND, and our question stating that it was “easy for him to”?…STAND AROUND was an automatic solve…But while it’s definitely ACUTE pun…TBT? The theme here has me going in CIRCLES…The others from Geometry class? Is it a party being held? Is the woman a teacher, and she invited students over to chew the FLAT? I mean…what’s the ANGLE here? And as I mentioned earlier, the look on her husband’s face? That ARCHed eyebrow? He definitely looks put out…Maybe it’s me, but something just doesn’t ADD up…And just how early is the Circle anyway? With the woman still wearing an apron and holding a dishcloth…I’d say she definitely wasn’t ANGLE-ing for him to show up there any time soon. Ok granted, the Circle does seem nice enough, but I think the guy’s a bit OBTUSE…Am I RIGHT? He seems like he’s out in LEFT field here…IDK…I just think the couple’s probably thinking…”We would have been RADIAN like an hour or so…but TAU we’re TOTALly thrown off schedule”…Again, maybe it’s just me…I’m just having a little PROBLEM wrapping my head AROUND it…And I hate when I can’t FIGURE something out. Of course it’s not a mamMATH issue, but still…I’m just having a tough time getting the POINT…PLANE and simple…

🥃 They DRANK for a few hours, and DAMAGE had been done,
That last round they needed to SPURN, but they were having fun…
And after all the caution to wind had def been THROWN,
They knew that not a one of them could drive the others home
They’ll need to nurse their headaches after all the booze they downed…

All right ! It’s Monday and the start of a new week ! I enjoyed the jumble today . The words came without DAMAGE ! I didn’t even have to SPURN then , but I was thirsty and drank a very tasty sprite ! The circle was waiting for the other shapes to get THROWN in with him , so he patiently waited . He had to STAND AROUND , cause one thing he will never feel is Square , so he put on his glasses that were Round and not Tri-foculs . Great start for the week ! Everyone stay geometric ! A quick look at puzzle and out came the word STAND, for some reason, but didn’t follow to conclusion. Did the anagrams speedily to find the answer. Am more familiar with “I’ll be Around” from the Great American Songbook than your song, Angela. Yes, any day chocolate is on the menu is great.

This Jumble was not a challenge and one of the easiest Monday solve. For a majority of working people, Monday is the worst day of the week… They are certainly not Jumble players!
