  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…

🎶 That day I first saw you…passing by…I wanted to know your name but I was much, much too shy. I was looking at you so hard, until you must have had a hunch…So you came up to me and asked me my NAME….You BEAT Me To The PUNCH…🎶 “You Beat Me To The Punch” – Mary Wells 1962 https://tinyurl.com/6yst8ptx

📦 The Foreman Grill still holds its own..its sales have seen no DROOP,
And here today we get to see some of the inside scoop…
They thought to USHER in the grill in 1994,
The BANTER was immediate…and Joe knew they had scored
The numbers did EXCITE them…they felt sly as a fox…
The concept so successful…Good to think OUTSIDE THE BOX! 📦

In a repeat of yesterday, we’re looking at three new anagrams today, with only XTCEEI having been PLUGGED IN last year…And with not much to CHEW on with any of them…let’s just get COOKING…

Today’s theme…the George Foreman Grill. https://tinyurl.com/4ufv5zkn Never having given it much more thought than what MEATS the eye, I did some Googling in an attempt to identify the man and woman pictured with George. But I found that I was BASTING WEIGH too much time. So I’m just RUBBING, I mean dubbing them “two Salton reps”…and whether the STEAKS are high here or not…I’m letting the CHOPS fall where they may… And as for our solve? Let’s FACE it Folks, there’s no igGNAWing what’s here…George’s face seen on the OUTSIDE (OF) THE BOX, the Grill, seen OUTSIDE (OF) THE BOX, and the novel way of thinking, “OUTSIDE THE BOX“ https://tinyurl.com/2p8b6rmy by bringing George Foreman on as pitchman?…Well, just as George is ready to SPAR…(that line’s a real WEINER)! I’ll be just as FRANK…The solve?…It was an easy, breezy ONE-TWO PUNCH! … https://tinyurl.com/2t4rnkx9 ….

So, There you have it Folks…WELL, DONE… Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…and this puzzle reminds me of an ad I saw recently…”George Foreman Grill and Mohammed Ali DVD for sale…Both BOXED”… 🥊 🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️Known to always think OUTSIDE THE BOX, he planned to EXCITE the group with his witty BANTER as he would USHER them to their seats…but his spirits began to DROOP when he was told to keep any talking to a minimum…🤷🏻‍♂️

📦 The BANTER it was loud and quick, it did much to EXCITE,
The people who had gathered there, on this dark stormy night…
The rain forced them to USHER the festivities inside,
They watched the rain as it did DROOP down windows high and wide
Determined to succeed tonight, despite these sudden knocks…
They put their heads together and just thought OUTSIDE THE BOX! 📦

  3. Easy and fun today! We have a Foreman Grill and love it. I admit to being surprised it was good cuz it looks cheap.
Cally has been gullywashed for weeks now. It is predictable they will tell us the drought is not affected. At least the Rams are in the playoffs!
    Manana, bros

  4. I was not thinking Outside The Box or inside today. Gave up so I get to Angela’s thread which had some impressive research. Today will not Excite me as I Usher in Tuesday with little Banter and Droop toward the end of the year. Fair winds to all those traveling today especially my sister and her husband coming home from Texas.

  5. Like others, saw a BOX somewhere in there, but no blind solve. Anagrams speedily unscrambled to reveal the clever puzzle. I got Marsha a desktop Jumble Calendar for Christmas…thought that was a fun little stocking stuffer !!! Will have to listen to Angela’s song…not familiar with it. Have a wonderful day.

  6. Good morning. Another successful day with jumble. The words came fairly easy and once I worked on the cartoon answer and saw “the and box” the rest followed. Loved your song choice Angela. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  7. 💰 While George proved his prowess in the ring,
Hawking grills was a whole ‘nother thing…
But he def packed a punch,
    Following Salton’s good hunch…
And the sound that he heard was….Cha-Ching! 💰

🔥 Foreman grills took the market by storm,
Something a little dif from the norm…
    You could use it indoors,
    People even tried s’mores…
Yep, with grilling it did bring reform! 🔥

🥊 With this new grill they needed a catch,
Thought George Foreman’s name they would attach…
So they pitched him the sell,
And old George he said …”Well…
This might prove to be my greatest match”!

    • My limerick is so uncannily like one of yours – except that I was thinking about a bout – that I won’t post it today! Hope your day – almost over by now as you’re such an early bird – is going well! Mild here today.

      • Tk you, Helen…but hardly over…it’s only 1:30! Hope your day is going well too…🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Banter and usher were my last 2 anagrams I solved.I usually have trouble w a cartoon having that many letters available, but w box being obvious somewhere,I also ” thought outside the box” for the complete solution on a rainy sleeting Illinois morning.

  9. Like others, found “box” quickly and the rest followed without difficulty. Aren’t all of George Foreman’s sons named George?? He sounds like he must be quite a character. We’ve had several days of rain here in the Bay Area which is just wonderful. It’s unusually cold – in the 40’s so we’re bundled up. Stay warm folks.

  10. Did anyone notice that in the UK, Boxing Day is the day after Christmas, unless it falls on a Sunday, in which case it is moved to Tuesday, December 28. So today’s jumble fell Outside the Boxing Day.
