  1. Good Morning, Everyone…😂 ANIMATION…DURATION! 😂

    🎶The Simpson’s Theme Song” 🎶 (written by) Danny Elfman 1989 https://tinyurl.com/24wd8825

😂 Who doesn’t like a cartoon? There are those who won’t FORGO,
The chance to watch and laugh along with family at a show…
That features funny characters…no METHOD acting here,
Just all the same old INPUT…still enjoyed throughout the years
And some remain a WINNER through all the thick and thin…
It’s chalked up to the fact that many people still “TOON” IN! 😂

Ok..So here we go…Entering the last week of 2021…And God knows we could all use the laughs… So in keeping with the trend of the past few days, a TV MARATHON definitely rings true.. And today’s marathon is animation (RE)-RUNNING amok!…It features a show within a show…And I, for one, am happy to “TOON” IN!

…Today, more RERUNS…No new words, and an old anagram…NWENIR from January…But along with the three new ones, they’re all WINNERs…So no problem there. And the solve? Easy, breezy…CHILD’s play…Between the dialogue…”Still on”…“The kids love it” …”Marathon”…and our question offering…”Continue” and “Viewers”? David and Jeff’s collaboration definitely SHOWed us the way today…

So, an attractively updated Simpson https://tinyurl.com/yc87uk3t Family SHOWs us Marge, holding Maggie, with Bart and Lisa nearby (on that couch)!…gathered around the TV watching the “Itchy and Scratchy Show” https://tinyurl.com/2ayp3n5x – (a Simpson Family favorite, which of course is a rather feral takeoff of “Tom and Jerry” https://tinyurl.com/mcsfw66p ) – featuring Itchy, the mouse offering Scratchy a cake with the ubiquitous stick of dynamite for a candle…And as the Father, Homer, enters, surprised to find that they’re all still TUNEd IN to the show…well…that solves our puzzle…

So, There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one…Be well, stay safe…And I hope no one’s GROENING over today’s solve! 😂🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 👍🏻 When the committee decided to try a different METHOD and FORGO using the original INPUT, they figured they’d have a WINNER and couldn’t wait for the members to TUNE IN…👍🏻

🙇🏻‍♂️ The WINNER had a METHOD…no way that he’d FORGO,
What worked for him before, and so he let the others know…
That he would need no INPUT…but then much to his chagrin
It didn’t work…and red-faced he told them to not TUNE IN…🙇🏻‍♂️

  3. Kinda fun today. I got the anagrams easily and the solution did not escape me!
I also solved David’s Sunday puzzle quickly.
    Not a bad day, eh?

  4. Itchy and Scratchy? Yes, please. I would “Toon” In every chance. The Simpson’s theme song is a perfect choice, Angela but you don’t need my Input because your Method is a Winner so I will Forgo any other options. As this year crawls to a close, laughter will get us through.

  5. Shorter is always better….right ?? Still didn’t get a blind solve, but words unscrambled effortlessly and puzzle solved. Way to go, Angela, to bring in a Danny Elfman song…ever so creative…did alot of movie themes…I especially remember the tuneful Dick Tracy movie soundtrack.

    • And six letters is about as short as it gets! 😉Thanks, and I love how you also know of Danny Elfman. You help restore my waning faith in humanity! Be well, Terry…and have a good one…🎶🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Loved when Oingo Boingo was on “Back to School” with Rodney Dangerfield! That movie still makes me laugh! Even if there is someone out there that doesn’t know Danny Elfman’s name. I’m sure they have heard more than one of his movie scores! After getting Forgo today, solved the puzzle and then the rest of the words. Hope you all are having a Wonderful Holiday season. Take care!

  6. A fairly easy start to the week…a good confidence builder, on top of an easy Sunday puzzle yesterday. Mike and Angela – you may have answered this question before. But I was just curious. Obviously it seems like you have a database of all the Jumble words back to the beginning of time (since the start of Jumble in 1954). I was wondering how you put this together. Thanks! Have a great week!

    • Trade secrets, Brad…trade secrets! 😉 And wishing you a great week too! 🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Good morning. We were handed a Christmas gift with today’s easy jumble. Not much thinking to get the words. Straight down the line with absolutely no hesitation. Not a blind solve on the cartoon answer but another easy task with just six letters. Thanks Angela with the wonderful video of the Simpsons and all the other treasures that I’ll check after this. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul…and thank you! Glad you enjoyed it…And yes, definitely a gift! Have a good one…and hoping you’re staying well and safe too…🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. 🤷🏻‍♂️ With the catchphrase “D’oh” now part of speech,
It shows how far a cartoon can reach…
    People love to “toon” in,
‘Cause it gives them a grin…
And there’s lessons too that some will teach! 🤷🏻‍♂️

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 When a marathon comes on TV,
It works wonders to shelve the ennui…
‘Cause we all love to laugh,
    And enjoy a good gaffe…
And it brings together a family! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

😂 The Simpsons have surely endured,
    Breaking barriers..yes, that’s for sure…
    The irreverence alone,
    Groening’s easily honed…
And an audience he’s def secured! 😂

  9. Today is NATIONAL FRUITCAKE DAY! 🥮…And I NOEL YULE not be all that excited about this one! …BeCLAUS…well, let’s face it..it’s not all that HARD to understand! It’s Fruitcake! 🤦🏻‍♀️ My mantra? …”Leave the Fruitcake…take the cannoli”! And OJEYN! 🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. The cartoon has eternal appeal
What gives it that special feel?
Is it the action so fast
The way the characters are cast
Or is it something else it conceals?

Is it human nature it portrays
    In often irreverent ways
    Just a wee bit surreal
    Not quite the true deal
It sure has its special cachet!

The cartoon has kids on a hook
They’ll stop everything just for a look
    Completely engrossed
    Over cereal and toast
For many, it beats out the book!

  11. Can there be a Jumble w too few letters,w repeats no less? But it was a quick solve, if not a blind one. We’re rolling into the final week of the year w full speed ahead to 2022.
