  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

🎶 He’s making a list…He’s checking it twice…He’s gonna find out who’s naughty or nice…SANTA “CLAWS” is coming to town…SANTA “CLAWS” is coming to town…🎶 “ Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” (with apologies to) Michael Bublé 2011 https://tinyurl.com/4jatvsfn

My Family and I are still together…We’re still eating and opening gifts, and now that it’s after midnight, we’ll start cooking again, making zeppoles and sausage and peppers, and continue celebrating the Eve…that now becomes Christmas Day…So for now I’m just taking a little break to drop you a quick line…

Our words aren’t new, but three of our anagrams are…Only HELSIG has been seen many times before, between 1964 and 2007. And as far as our cartoon goes, it’s pretty clear that our cat, not looking happy, has SANTA “CLAWS”…
And the cute little gem? Our girl wearing candy cane adorned socks…Sweet…

…And I’ll try my best to be back later with a rhyme…Be well, stay safe…and may the magic that is Christmas dwell in everyone’s home…🎄🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

The puzzle of December 24th, 2013 …The question: “The Christmas costume brought out their* cat’s”….The solve: SANTA “CLAWS” https://tinyurl.com/bdzkdn9y

*…And we’re seeing David, his lovely wife Claire, and one of their two cats, Tootie…🎄

  3. Good Morning, Again…Merry Christmas! 🎄🙋🏻‍♀️

🐈 Probably sorry that he’s still AWAKE, our cat sure don’t look happy,
And most likely he’s just thinking that this get up’s really sappy…
The suit…What?…Did they SCULPT it…to get the fit so well?
Is there’s a NANNY in the house where we see these kids dwell?
    Let’s hope they don’t bring out a SLEIGH…and strap him in, because…
I doubt that this will end well and then we’ll def see SANTA “CLAWS”! 🐈

🎅🏻The NANNY, exhausted by now, did her best to stay AWAKE as she loaded the SLEIGH…all the while watching the neighbors SCULPT a snowman in the image of SANTA CLAUS…🎅🏻

🎅🏻Despite it now being so late, the kids still lie AWAKE,
Their pillows they did SCULPT three times…their nerves are all a quake…
The NANNY tries to convince them that sleeping is a must,
Because children who stay awake? Christmas may be a bust!
They think they hear the SLEIGH approach..one breaks out in applause…
And the Nanny shakes her head and says…”No…that’s not SANTA CLAUS”! 🎅🏻

  4. There’s a clause in the contract with your cat
Do not dress it in a Santa Claus hat
It won’t do what it’s told
    It just can’t be controlled
And with its claws it will try to combat!

      • You too Angela! Sounds as though you have been up for hours! Well above freezing here, about 6 or 7 degrees (not sure what that is in Fahrenheit – maybe about 40?) so time outside should be fine. Five young grandchildren and parents on their way here this afternoon for a shorter than usual Christmas visit. Covid still rules unfortunately.

        • Tk you…and unfortunately, yes. Another Christmas with a reserved number of people…Have a good one, Helen…🎄🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. For some reason….a blind solve this morning (don’t know how that happened, but always glad it does !!)….and then gave a few hints to Marsha and she got it. Anagrams easy, so a great start to the Christmas morning….wish you all Peace on Earth…that’s what it’s all about. Saw Michael Buble in concert in 2012 and very enjoyable. Keep those pots and pans cookin’, Angela…Bet it’s all delish!!

  6. I notice there is a comma after “Christmas”. The comma is not a cat. That’s because the cat has claws at the end of its paws, while the comma is a pause at the end of a clause. But you don’t need a comma (or a cat, who would just say meow) to recite the Santa Clause, which goes, “Either the Santa Clause is false or there is a Santa Claus.”

  7. Very easy today and a blind solve. Loved that AWAKE and SLEIGH were unjumbled words.

Merry Christmas to all, especially Angela and Mike as well as David and Jeff.

  8. Anagrams were a snap,as was Santa for the first word, but I didn’t catch the cat reference so had to pause on the claws second word, originally thinking it was beard or whiskers.
A merry Christmas from my house to all of you Jumble solvers.
