  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 🐕 COLLIE WANTS A NAP..PER? 🐕

🎶 Get your motor runnin’…Head out on the highway…Looking for ADVENTURE…In whatever comes our way…🎶 “Born To Be Wild” – Steppenwolf 1968 https://tinyurl.com/vz8vv63m

🐕 Rip Haywire, adventurer, but definitely not his pet,
It’s COMEDY for sure with him, cowardliness a bet…
He goes by the name TNT, a collie, but his LINER?
No lineage is what I meant…and his should be much finer…
He’s known to be quite lazy, and he’d BOBBLE things of strength,
It’s TAKEN with a grain of salt, he’s on his own wavelength
    He’s mostly in a panic mode, though grown…he’s like a child…
And napping suits him perfectly, he’s def BORN TO BE “MILD”! 🐕

Today’s Guest Jumbler…Dan Thompson: who brings us Rip Haywire, https://tinyurl.com/5b4zxkvz an American serial comic strip of action and adventure. And clicking through the link will give you an overview, and information on both Dan and the cast of his cartoon…But today we’re spotlighting Rip’s cowardly sidekick, TNT. That the collie is able to sleep while Rip does his best to avoid the jaws of two crocodiles proves that he’s just…BORN TO BE “MILD”…

So, There you have it Folks, Done. Be well, stay safe…and our special thanks to Dan Thompson for joining us during our Guest Jumbler Week. 🐕🙋🏻‍♀️

    • I was typing while you had your comment all ready ! I knew that song was gonna come up ! The song is good enough to mention twice ‘ thanks

    • The video scenes for the music are from the movie Easy Rider, with Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper. Quirky movie but of the times. I haven’t thought of it for decades.

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️ After he had TAKEN careful steps removing the protective LINER on the Elvis BOBBLE-head doll, he was disappointed to see that what he held in his hand was reminiscent of a figurine from a COMEDY collection, not the BORN TO BE WILD statue that he had ordered…🤷🏻‍♂️

🎤 He went to open mic night…the COMEDY club was jammed,
Tonight a head LINER performed…the reason people crammed…
He just had TAKEN his place on the tiny little stage,
When a BOBBLE with a tray of drinks?…Well people got enraged
A fight broke out, he stood there… feeling a sense of exile…
His sketch was titled “Candy Man”…not Man BORN TO BE WILD…🎤

  3. Get your motor running!
    Fun day with substitute teachers….
I prefer David/Jeff Jumbles but am entertained by the guests.
Happy they have some time off to refresh their brains!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Good morning! And happy Thursday ! I’m feeling pretty good for the anagrams cause I got them with no brain BOBBLE ! It was kind of funny and entertaining, just like a COMEDY. When I got to the solution I was TAKEN back on how tough it was ! My wife , Suzie, helped me try to figure it out and while she was studying it , I was trying to figure out what LINER there was to give us a clue , cause I couldn’t get the cartoon. Then all of a sudden, Suzie said BORN TO BE WILD and said the cartoon probably had another dog riding a motorcycle and that helped . I couldn’t believe it ! She is so good at this ! And I know the only song is 🎵 born to be mild 🎵 get your motor running, head out on the highway, looking for adventure in whatever comes our way 🎵 It all came together ! Wow , what a great experience ! Everyone have a great Thursday !!

    • I had to get up and check our dogs , they were barking, so I quickly looked up the jumble and saw the cartoon and I liked my wife’s scenario about the motorcycles , one dog riding on one and another dog sleeping ! It might’ve been harder if we did see the right one ! Sheeece !

  5. 🐕 Where a collie is loyal and true,
TNT he may not have a clue….
    He’s at Rip’s side, Uh…yes,
    But he’s mainly a mess…
Comes to danger and he bids adieu! 🐕

🐕 Rip Haywire is willing to fight,
    He’s for justice and doing what’s right…
    But his dog TNT…
    He fights off the ennui,
‘Cause he’d much rather sleep through the night! 🐕

🐕 Fortune’s soldier is our guy here, Rip
Fighting villains…he’s there on the quick…
    But his collie? A wimp,
    Just a silly old imp…
Still Rip loves him and deals with his shtick! 🐕

  6. Good morning. I am enjoying guest week. The words were a breeze but not the cartoon answer for me. Even though I had the two middle words I drew a blank on both four letter words. Enjoyed your song choice Angela. It sure gets the juices flowing. I could have used that vibe before tackling the puzzle. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Brooklyn …LOL! Maybe I should start sending you the music first thing in the morning? 😉 Tks, Paul…Have a good one, and stay well and safe…🐕🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Jumble went rather smoothly today! Loved the pic of the Sheltie on the vote page! Those puppies are my heart! ❤️❤️❤️! Have a Thoroughly Terrific Thursday! ☺️

  8. Another tough Guest Jumble….words smoothly unscrambled, then thought of many BONDS, BORES and BONE to no avail….Had trouble with what those two…two letter words would be (TO BE)…so eventually had to look up the answer. Better luck Friday for us.

  9. I had to work hard at this Guest Jumble too. It helped that there weren’t many two-letter word combinations that made sense, and with only one vowel for each four-letter word, the possibilities were limited. When I finally did get the answer, I wasn’t sure it was right. I’m not familiar with this comic, but I got a kick out of the dog’s peaceful, sweet smile in the face of great danger. Wishing all a great day.

  10. Anagrams came quickly, but I had to look up the first 4 letter word,’born’ to then get the rest of the cartoon solution.

  11. I too am not familiar with this comic strip but was able to figure out the anagrams and cartoon answer without difficulty. Saw “to” and “be” first and then “mild” as the dog was so peaceful in the face of grave danger. We did a family field trip to the Charles M Schultz Museum in Santa Rosa, CA yesterday. It is a wonderful place if you’re a Peanuts fan – a true homage to my very favorite comic strip. It features everything you’d want to know about a most remarkable man and his wonderful characters, most of whom are named after and based on people he knew in real life. We dined on grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup at the Warm Puppy Cafe. Good Grief Charlie Brown, it was such fun. Happy Thursday all!
