Five of them joined me in getting it AUTOmatically…It was all in the “But”…
So, the Car Wash. Dad, having agreed to pay his son $20 to make his car SHINE, isn’t seeing the light. The car is streaked, and we can hear him say that it’s looking worse than before. Where’s the LUSTER that a car should have after a properly-done WAXing? Working at the car wash 🎶 it would be a lot easier than going out on a horse and JOUST at someone, i had to have some help on the last word , I just wanted to leave it BEMOAN , but I got the jumble thanks to that word ! The hardest jumble was BEMOAN, which took a couple of tries. For the answer, JOB was a given, but it took several tries before I found LUSTER. I saw luck, streak, trace, rule, etc. before LUSTER. Therefore, a good workout. I’ll have to take it easy the rest of the day so I can recover.

I was big on washing and waxing my cars frequently, until a misadventure several years ago, on a New Year’s Eve, when it was unseasonably warm especially in Illinois, when I washed 2 cars,and felt ill upon finishing the job. Long story short, I was suffering a heart attack, and ended up being airlifted to Peoria and put in intensive care. Fortunately, I survived to be here today. To be honest, I haven’t attempted washing or hand waxing a car since. As far as the Jumble, anagrams went well, as did the job portion of the cartoon, but the multitude of letters did me in on the first word, must be a Friday.

I bemoan a lacklustre result today! Fortunately the sun finally showed up after 3 or 4 days of rain and dark sky. Surely didn’t need to wash my van, nature did the job! There’s a good side to everything although not always evident!
