  1. Good Morning, Everyone! 🤷🏻‍♂️PUTT YOU GONNA DO? 🤷🏻‍♂️

🎶 Did you ever have to make up your mind?…Pick up on one and leave the other behind…It’s not often easy, and not often kind…Did you ever have to make up your mind?…🎶 “Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind”? – The Lovin’ Spoonful 1965 https://tinyurl.com/kxts7mdm

⛳️ No way to play a ROUND of golf, with all this disarray,
They’ll have to close the place down, for a good number of days..
The owners stand there with some POISE, but happy they are not,
They tried to keep the place afloat, they gave it their best shot…
No CALICO cat on display, but King Kong he looms large
And who is that he holds aloft? I think I’ll call her Marge…
The windmill, a disaster, a GURNEY’d be of use,
This place sure took a beating…def put up with some abuse…
The Miniature Golf fans for now? I guess there’ll be remorse…
Yet there’s no choice but close up shop…it’s the ONLY RECOURSE! ⛳️

Me: “PUTT I wanted to play so badly…”
    He: “I wouldn’t worry about it…you already do”…
    …PUTT that’s a story for another time.

So, the T-shirt. The man on the left is wearing a Tee that reads, “Sir Pulls A Lot”. And that just happens to be the nickname of one of the Early Birds. The best golfer he’s not… And needless to say we all got a good laugh at that. Good thing he’s a good SPORT…

Ok, our words…All tried and true, and we PUTT our minds to it, and went STRAIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE with them. And just SEPIO showed up as a repeat anagram, a few times in fact, from 2008 to 2015. The solve? Let’s be honest, Folks…You had to figure COURSE was on tap…

Today’s realm of PLAY brings us to a Miniature Golf Course, expertly drawn, where we see a Castle, with a bent flag pole, a Whale, the aforementioned King Kong, and the proverbial Mini-golf Windmill…all of which have definitely seen better days. The greens are all torn, railings are broken off, and it just has a shoddy look about it. But it’s the poor Windmill that’s really taken a beating. Shingles hanging loose and broken rungs on its blades. The WHOLE thing’s in need of some serious repair. So you can’t blame these guys for shutting the place down. They have no CHOICE…It was their …ONLY RECOURSE…Clever, David…another hole-in-one!

So, There you have it Folks, Done! Have a good one…Be well, stay safe…and let’s all PUTT our best foot forward today…Nothing’s ever gained by PUTTing a WEDGE between us…⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🎭 During rehearsal, it was almost impossible for her to maintain her POISE, when the scene called for her to be lying atop a GURNEY, wearing her CALICO dress with the deep ROUND neckline…so her ONLY RECOURSE was to go home and change…🎭

💃🏻 She thought she’d try the Two Step, the Texas one that is,
Go ROUND and round the dance floor..she thought she would be a whiz..
But after someone took a fall, and left upon a GURNEY,
She rethought the whole dancing thing…she’d take another journey…
They say the CALICO cat was the reason for the fall,
‘Cause while people were dancing, the cat did a circling crawl…
Whatever was the reason, her POISE now disappeared…
Her ONLY RECOURSE, sit it out…for now a fall she feared…💃🏻

  4. Fun but not that easy for me J today. Got the anagrams after some work and the solution after a little more time. Enjoy it when it is harder.
Still near 100 in Cool Cally.
Hope you have a great day!

        • YW. David prides himself on “going it alone”, but I’m sure people submit ideas. You can contact him through the Jumble website, or the Just Jumble App. You never know! ⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Good evening ! Did this jumble after the first football game of the year and Tampa bay pulled off a win barely, anyway I got the jumble , CALICO left me on a GURNEY after the first ROUND , but I got up and held my POISE of RECOURSE i did , cause I was 🎶 sitting on the (golf) of the bay , 🎶 watching the tide , go away 🎼 whew ! Goodnight everyone !

  6. Had the solution after the first three anagrams and looking at the cartoon closely, but had to back into GURNEY. It whipped my butt; just a word I haven’t seen in print in a while. Have a good weekend from South Georgia!!

    • Not an everyday word, Alan..at least not to most of us. And wishing you a good weekend too! ⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. The Jumblemeisters put one over on me today….No blind solve, so went about solving anagrams, which I did speedily, although I was surprised there was no “I” ….for I thought I needed it for SOLUTION for cartoon answer. Twas not to be and somewhat surprised that as a golfer, did not jump on COURSE being a part of it. Am drowning my tears for now and awaiting the morrow !!! TGIF back to y’all.

    • LOL! You didn’t pick up on course? The humanity! 😂 You may have to turn in your Golf Card! 😂 Have a good one, Terry. ⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Good morning. I made up my mind real early today after looking at today’s jumble. After a few minutes and only having one word and then drawing a blank on the cartoon answer I bowed out. Loved the song Angela. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Not to worry…there’s always tomorrow! Glad you liked the song choice. Hoping you’re staying well and safe too…Enjoy! ⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. Anagrams were a quick solve. But even after being an avid golfer, with the multitude of letters,I was temporarily stumped by the cartoon solution. But then ‘only’ came to mind for the first word, followed eventually by the complete ‘only recourse’ solution.Just about my first complete solution of the week, and it’s already Friday,

    • You may have to turn in your Golf Card, too! 😉…No biggie, Prof….we all have off days…But here’s to tomorrow…I’m sure you’ll FAIR WAY better! Have a good one! ⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. This Jumble has two answers, so it is cooked, and there is something wrong with both of them, namely ONLY RECOURSE and ONLY RESOURCE. Golf is played on a course but I never heard of a recourse, unless that’s the terminology they use for Holes 19-36. I don’t see how shutting down can be considered to be a RESOURCE. It isn’t Santa time yet and they use a singular person, otherwise YULE CROONERS; that’s right, crooners instead of carolers, would also be a solution.

  11. ‘Twas the state of the greens that did force
The closure of the mini golf course
    No ands ifs or but
You can’t make a good putt
‘Til you’ve solved the problem at source.

Well, this is really just a bit of a ROUGH copy but it’s after nine (holes) already, so I should really speed up. You know what it’s like, stuck behind slow golfers.

Okay Angela, I await your shot at this. No doubt you’re already in the clubhouse waiting to let loose with a couple of limericks or just watching the birdies in the trees.

    • How I wish! TBT, I have the kids…and it’s been a bit of a ROUGH morning. But I did write some last night. I’ll go through them, and see if I can follow your lead…⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Close?

⛳️ A course looking quite coarse itself,
Time to put the whole thing on the shelf…
      Things have gotten quite bleak,
      And repairs now they seek…
…(Maybe replace that whale with an elf)? ⛳️

  12. Though they’ve given me trouble in the past, I was able to recognize Gurney and Calico.
A miniature golf course near Rochester, NY claims to be the oldest (1930) in the country, but at least one other claims the same thing. Wishing all a fun weekend.

    • Kudos, Caroline. Neither are the most common of words…As for the course? LOL! Maybe Google can solve the mystery! Wishing you a fun weekend too…⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️

      • I did search a little. There’s a course in Ohio that says it was established in 1924. I’ve read the NY course is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

  13. Good workout this morning. Solved the anagrams without difficulty but the cartoon answer took some thought. I thought “course” right away but it was only after I figured out “only” was the four letter word that “recourse” appeared. Love a good challenge. Wishing all of you a good day.

    • Any means to the end, Betty…👏🏻👏🏻. And I’m with you…love the challenge. Here’s to you having a good day, too, Betty. Be well and stay safe…⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️

      • 👏🏻👏🏻! I have 7 of David’s games loaded on my iPad, and I devour them all. I end up finishing them all so fast though, that I’m like a kid on Christmas morning when a new update finally comes! No self-control! 😂😂…And according to my tracking, my Masterpiece should be here Monday. I have so many Jumble collection books now, that I had to clear off a shelf in my office so that I could keep them all together…I’m a little anal that way…🤷🏻‍♀️😂! But hey…it’s hardly the worst vice, right? 😂

  15. This must be my lucky week, or I am getting better at solving the daily puzzle. I think this makes three in a row I solved without any trouble .

    • 👏🏻👏🏻! Kudos, Marlene! Way to go! And I think you’ll like tomorrow’s too! Enjoy your night! ⛳️🙋🏻‍♀️
