Good Morning, Everyone…🐙 KELP! I NEED SOMEBODY! 🐙
🎶 I’d like to be, under the sea in an OCTOPUS’S garden in the shade…🎶 “Octopus’s Garden – Sir Ringo Starr &The Beatles 1969 https://tinyurl.com/3ksy9fmp
🐙 The sea denizen, an octopus, just throws his weight around,
He’s out to get the GLORY amongst all creatures sea bound…
To say that he’s quite HANDY, surely that is said in jest,
And if it comes to hands, the octopus shows he’s the best…
He’s LIMBER and he’s cunning…he likes to hunt at night,
His prey don’t have much of a chance…his grip it’s one of TIGHTS…
He gets his way, this bully…many others he has harmed…
The way he’s built…it’s easy to have others well STRONG ARMED…🐙
Once again, we’ve no new words this morning, but we’ve new anagrams to play with. And except for an EB or two blinking at TIGHTS, they were all easily deciphered…as was the solve. All those ARMS were way too obvious.
So, under the sea…With Jeff’s Signature Sinking Sailboat, a few urchins, an Octopus throwing his weight around, and enough dialogue to choke a fish…I mean a horse. And as stated above in my rhyme…this Octopus is a real bully. Having the advantage of eight tentacles, comprised of six ARMS and two legs…he‘s demanding these poor fish FEED his ego, and he’s easily getting his way. And that’s what we SEA here this morning…This octopus left them no other choice…but to be STRONG ARMED…
So, There you have it Folks, Done. I wish for you all to remain well and safe, and out of respect for today, our National Day of Service and Remembrance, let us take a moment to honor all those beautiful souls lost 20 years ago, to pray for those who still mourn them, and to wish well to the walking wounded still amongst us…who that terrible day chose to leave behind. And may God Bless America. 🇺🇸🙋🏻♀️
Amen

Thanks for being here for all visitors Angela. 🙂
Terry #2.
You can see that I had the Beatles on my mind…YW Terry, my pleasure…and thank you for the acknowledgment. Be well..stay safe. 🙋🏻♀️
Enjoyed Angela’s song.
J not hard today, in fact only took 59 seconds for the solve.
Sometimes I wonder if Angela is a software engineer created algorithm. She is always here and entertaining us. I’ll check with my pal Bill Gates……..
Have a gr8 weekend buds!
God knows I’ve been called worse! 😉…And we can never go wrong with the Beatles. Have a good night, Mig. 🐙🙋🏻♀️
I would never call you anything but great, A.
Your omnipresence impresses me….
Thank you, Mig. Much appreciated. 😘🙋🏻♀️
…AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…The Octopus theme and the solve seemed so familiar, so I searched the Archives…And while nothing was a match, we’ve had some very creative Octopus puzzles in the past…🐙

👯♀️ Refusing to be STRONG-ARMED, she dressed in her TIGHTS, did some stretches to LIMBER up, and with her music HANDY, was determined to dance her best set yet…and go out in a blaze of GLORY…👯♀️
🎭 He didn’t look for GLORY, but cautious just the same,
He kept his feelings LIMBER, not just looking for the fame…
His good luck charm was HANDY as he went to face the lights,
His nerves on edge a little…he felt them get the TIGHTS,
So confident he’d do his best…and no way get alarmed…
He stepped on stage determined that he wouldn’t be STRONG-ARMED 🎭
Good morning ! Great song by the Beatles , I wish I had 8 more ! Then I could give you , instead of “high five “ it’d be “ straight eight “ , the only anagram that wasn’t very HANDY , I mean rights , was TIGHTS , but I got it and I was in my GLORY, mr octopus shouldn’t be so uptight , just LIMBER up ! Have a great start for the weekend !!
God Morning, Jim. Yes, it is a great song. I could listen to the Beatles all day. And Tights is a masterful anagram. Wishing you a great start too, Jim. Be well and stay safe…🐙🙋🏻♀️
A quick look at the puzzle led me to believe CAUGHT could be the first word…then Marsha came up with correct answer out of the starting gate….I had to agree with her and unjumbled anagrams to check. Moreover, had to back in TIGHTS because I didn’t think it would be a plural. You’re right, can’t go wrong with the Beatles, though I don’t recall the title. Will listen for sure.
For sure a moment of somber remembrance for that fateful day 20 years ago !!
Amen to it all, Terry. 🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️
With a powerful grip times eight
The octo grabbed the fish at the gate
“I’m the boss of this ‘hood
So bring me some food
Or it might just be you that gets ate!”
Good Morning, Helen…🙋🏻♀️
Bullies come in all shapes and all sizes,
So I guess what we see shouldn’t ‘sprise us…
Above ground or below,
Too much hatred we sow…
Here’s to hoping soon kindness arises!
A very global and thoughtful perspective Angela for a sombre date. Things should brighten up a bit today in your area with the women’s singles final at Flushing between two new stars of tennis. I can remember exactly 20 years ago this weekend when a very young Venus and Serena were in the final. Two or three days later, when the tennis was all over, the unthinkable happened.
Thank you, Helen. Here’s to all our tomorrow’s being brighter! 🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️
Good morning. The words were easy but this old brain couldn’t come up with the very easy cartoon answer. Can’t figure why I’m having so much trouble lately. Thanks for all your posts Angela, enjoyed them. I did listen to your song choice, first time hearing it. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
Good Morning, Paul. Thanks for the Shout Out. And not to worry….I know you got this…Be well and stay safe out there…🙋🏻♀️
Tights looked like sight w an extra T at first, then all the consonants gave me reason to pause on the cartoon solution, but then out of the blue,or should I say out of the sea,”strong armed” popped into mind.
Out of the sea, indeed! 👏🏻👏🏻…Good Morning, Professor. Tights had the guys blinking too…it’s a great anagram. Be well, Prof and stay safe out there…🙋🏻♀️
Kind of had a blind solve when I saw the octopus; knew arm or arms would probably be floating around there somewhere. What does give a little trouble is when they use an anagram ending in “s” for a plural as in TIGHTS. Otherwise not too difficult!!
You’re not alone in feeling that way, Alan. A few people have said that to me today..that it was the only thing that slowed them down. Thanks for commenting, and be well. 🙋🏻♀️
Aside from a sight pause at seeing sight for tights was able to wrap my arms around the puzzle this morning and solve it without difficulty. Thoughts and prayers for all those souls lost today and for those they left behind. 🙏🇺🇸
Wrapped your arms around the puzzle! 👏🏻👏🏻. And thank you, Betty. It’s a tough day…🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️
