šš»āāļøFor those whoāve CHOSEN jogging as a way to keep their health,
Itād be ABSURD to not pay mind to a matter of stealthā¦
And here we see a warning signā¦no print though, no ITALIC,
Yet still there are those drivers whoāll speed through like a smart aleckā¦
What makes a person not take heed, instead look to EXCITE,
The people who go jogging hereā¦through day and early night?
Perhaps thereās HERBAL indulgingā¦while theyāre behind the wheel?
Thatās causing them to speed when they should drive at even keel?
The bottom line, although UNSEEN as they come round the bendā¦
These joggers have the right of way and drivers need to lendā¦
A little common courtesyā¦and adhere to precautionā¦
Respect those who are crossingā¦while theyāve EXERCISED CAUTIONā¦šš»āāļø
So I was going to look up some statistics relating to the number of accidents that probably occur in situations like what we have here todayā¦but then I figuredā¦why would I do that? I mean yāall didnāt come here for some CRASH course in all thatā¦plus whatās the need to DRIVE myself crazy over all the minutia? So I just TURNed away from the ideaā¦
Okā¦DRIVING forwardā¦Our words. Nothing new to see here, Folks, theyāve all CROSSED PATHS with us before. And just as y’day, we have one repeat anagram, in CLAITI, which SLOWED UP, I mean showed up on May 10th of last year. https://tinyurl.com/efm4u6wh And as far as the RATE OF SPEED in which the Early Birds RAN through our words this morning? Suffice to say they kept it at a good PACEā¦and the only word that STOPped three of them in their TRACKS was UNSEEN. They each went with Uneaseā¦āAā definite violationā¦
Soā¦our cartoon. Okā¦hereās the deal. We see two Jumble characters, out getting some EXERCISE, by jogging through the park, and a car approaching around the bend. And I could RUN on about a few things, but the bottom line is, this was a dead giveaway, with the āpresentsā of the Pedestrian Crossing Sign. https://tinyurl.com/3dzab3au Definitely a gift! Knowing it symbolizes CAUTION, it didnāt take much to JOG the memory of the phrase, pick up on EXERCISEDā¦and Boom!ā¦(no pun intended)..There it wasā¦Put that together with āCarefulā in the dialogueā¦and weāre in the Home STRETCHā¦They EXERCISED CAUTIONā¦And David continues with his RUN of winners!
And while thereās nothing lurking in the bushes as far as Gems go, there is the slight chance that itās Jeff and Kathy that weāve RUN into todayā¦But I think itās a STRETCH, since Kathy has beautiful curly hair, and the dialogue between her and the guy, (who has a bead of sweat by his left eye), somehow sounds as if theyāve just RUN into one another at the crossingā¦But, who knowsā¦It may just be a LAPse in judgement on my partā¦

No blind solve today….even though a quick peek of anagrams showed the X was part of the solution. Speedily solved the anagrams, though UNSEEN took an extra moment. Deliberated over puzzle answer and where to put that X….While running out of ideas, I thought TION might fit somewhere and girlfriend Marsha jumped in with CAUTION, quickly followed by the first word with that pesky X….Good song Angela and we’ll hope that August won’t be that hot in Central Texas.
LOL! That pesky āXā? Too funny! Tk you on the song choiceā¦As for the dreaded āHā word? Your lips to Godās earsā¦Letās not even think about those dog days! š± Enjoy your trip, Terryā¦and stay safe out thereā¦šš»āāļøšš»āāļø
As approaching the crossing they strode
Joggers heeded the highway code.
“If drivers do the same
There’ll be no one to blame
When the rules of the road they erode!”
Hi Helenā¦
šš»āāļøSo a jog in the park can be fun,
Long as you stay alert while you runā¦
āCause thereās cars that may cross,
And it would be your lossā¦
Should you end up as one run and done! šš»āāļø
Hi Everybody – An easy Sunday Ā because the UN prefix worked and the harder anagrams were familiarĀ to me. Trying to make words with the X led me to exercised and the rest. Speaking of art imitating life, just recently I became Ā concerned when I learned a relative had been jogging down a narrow two- lane road that was also hilly and winding. SeemedĀ risky to me.
Good Morning, Caroline. Thereās mention of that āpeskyā X again! šā¦And after reading your comment about your relative, I apologize for the last line of my Limerickā¦Have a good day, Caroline. Enjoy! šš»āāļøšš»āāļø

Itās all in the cartoon, Professorā¦you just need to study that cartoon! Have a good one Prof, and enjoy your game! šš»āāļøšš»āāļø
Good challenge this morning. Had to study the cartoon dialogue a bit but finally saw caution and then exercised was obvious after that. So all in all it was a successful Sunday. Hope all of you have a good day.
