  1. Good Morning, Everyone… ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป PUMPING IRONY ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป

๐ŸŽถ MR. BIG STUFF, tell me…Just who do you think you are…MR. BIG STUFF…You’re never gonna get my love…MR. BIG STUFF…๐ŸŽถ โ€œMr.Big Stuffโ€ – Jean Knight 1971 https://tinyurl.com/aktac6t2

๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป A lot of Bodybuilders have love affairs…of sorts,
    Unfortunately itโ€™s with themselves…so HENCE theyโ€™ll hear retorts…
โ€œYou think that youโ€™re such Big Stuff, those barbells that you STASH…
You pose in the PAGODA, hoping that you’ll make a splashโ€
The worst of them is PONCHO here, he loves to preen and prance…
Conceit should be his middle name..โ€™cause itโ€™s not HAPPENSTANCE! ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป

So with no new entries muscling in on our Jumble records today, we close the work (week) out…And while our words are all ones that easily lifted the spirits of the Early Birds, the solve did weigh heavily on two of them…

Set along the shoreline, today we see two women outdoors, enjoying the beautiful weather, and stopping to take a picture or two. But just by chance, when one friend went to snap a pic of the other, a bodybuilder who was admiring himself in the background, photo-bombed her…though through no fault of his own. It just HAPPENed that he was caught, mid-STANCE…It was simply HAPPENSTANCE!.. https://tinyurl.com/2mn32ah9 But itโ€™s PECuliar now having him in the womenโ€™s picture, donโ€™t you think?…Personally Iโ€™d call it a negative…I mean who wants a complete stranger muscling in on their pic? The swole thing wouldnโ€™t carry much weight with me…

Recap? We have Mr Big Stuff, thinking heโ€™s a regular Gym Dandy, a woman working out with some dumbbells, palm trees along the shore, and that flex-tra little touch, Jeffโ€™s Signature Sinking Sailboat…A fit-ting finish…

So, There you have it Folks, Done. Be well, stay safe…and always remember to carry your own weight…it builds character…๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  2. ๐Ÿ’Š The STASH of drugs was found in the lining of the PONCHO hanging in the PAGODA, HENCE the ensuing arrests weren’t HAPPENSTANCE. ๐Ÿ’Š

๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ She owned a ton of PONCHO tops, HENCE envy was on tap,
The one with the PAGODA print, surely her favorite wrap
Referring to it as her STASH, it wasnโ€™t just by chance…
    That suddenly itโ€™s missing…No hardly HAPPENSTANCE…๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  3. Words kind of tricky but easily solvable….for the final puzzle solve, I saw the HAPPEN, but then didn’t quite place the other letters in the right place…oh well !!

    • Good Morning, Terry. Itโ€™s not every day that we hear the word Happenstance, so itโ€™s understandable that it may not automatically come to mind. But David has made fun use of the word…๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  4. Good morning. What a tough week so far. The words were easy for me. The two six letter words popped into my head to my surprise but I failed on the cartoon answer. Loved your post Angela but happenstance my foot. They had undercover agents following them the whole time. Big Brother is Everywhere. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Brooklyn…and thank you! And you may be right…Big Brother does seem to be more and more prevalent in our lives today. But Iโ€™ve learned to take everything with a grain of salt…If it helps keep us safer? โ€œHeโ€ can look all he wants! ๐Ÿ˜‰ And wishing you stay well and safe too, Paul. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  5. I rememberedย Pagoda from the past but had to work Poncho out on paper. At first I thought apps (abs misspelled) would be part of the answer. What helped me finally get it after a struggle was thinking the ending could be “ence” and the two P’s might go together. Loved the drawing and song from long ago.
    Wishing all a fun weekend.

    • Good Morning, Caroline. Abs is a good call! I like your line of thinking! And Iโ€™m glad you enjoyed the song. Popped into my head the minute I laid eyes on the STANCE Jeff gave our bodybuilder…And I wish you a fun day, too! ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  6. Happenstance? Believe it or not I got that solution along w the anagrams after one quick glance. I usually have trouble w multi letter answers, but for some reason happenstance was an immediate solve. A good ending of the week, preceding tomorrow’s “stay at home day”, which is how our 6 yr old twins, Kate and Jane, refer to Saturdays, especially when we’re going up there to watch them.

    • Kudos, Professor! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป A good ending to the week, indeed! ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  7. Today is NATIONAL ARBOR DAY! ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฟ
Plant a tree…and SEED the difference it can make! ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  8. Managed to get all the anagrams and even the cartoon answer right away this morning. Off to a good start. Hope all of you have a Good Friday. Didnโ€™t know it was National Arbor Day, Angela. Thanks for the information. Hug a tree! ๐ŸŒฒ

    • Kudos, Betty! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป And youโ€™re welcome… I didnโ€™t want to just shrub it off! Hereโ€™s hoping you have a Good Friday too! ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

    • Wishing you the same, Mig. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

    • No way Jose! Never heard of the word!
Got stuck trying to fit SHAPE and gave up. The jumbles were quite easily solved but no can do with the 12 letters!
I felt like my Yankees today! As they often say: tomorrow is another day!
      Christian

      • Youโ€™re right, Christian…Hereโ€™s to tomorrow! ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  9. Hi all – No problem with the words when I recognized PAGODA and PONCHO from seeing them here previously. Thought the answer might be something like UNINTENTIONAL but the letters werenโ€™t right. I got it after staring at them for a minute.

    Good wishes to everyone.

Angela, for a minute I thought you might be referring to The Cisco Kidโ€™s sidekick, PANCHO.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cisco_Kid_(TV_series)
I also had to groan at โ€œthe swole thingโ€, and nice catch on the sinking sailboat.

โ€œThe PAGODA was empty when he decided to STASH his PONCHO behind the altar; HENCE the dirty looks when he interrupted the service later to retrieve it.โ€
๐ŸŽตโ€Itโ€™s knowing that your door is always open and your path is free to walk
That makes me tend to leave my sleeping bag rolled up
    and STASHED behind your couchโ€๐ŸŽต

    • Gotta love that ubiquitous little boat! โ›ต๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‰..And good wishes to you too, Steve. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ
