  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…

🎶 I’ll give you all I’ve got to give if you say you love me too…I may not have a lot to give, but what I’ve got I’ll give to you…I don’t care too much for money…For money can’t buy me love…🎶 “Can’t Buy Me Love” – The Beatles 1964 https://tinyurl.com/2ralpww5

🏠 You have to love today’s puzzle, a pure TOKEN of love,
And these three look so tight-knit…like a hand goes with a glove…
It’s LIKELY that they’ve raised him well, with mind sets they BELONG,
It’s obvious he’s done well too, ‘cause financially he’s strong
In life good lessons don’t ABATE…and this son seems a clone..
    He’s def a credit to his Folks…so he’ll GO IT “A-LOAN”! 🏠

So, anyone who knows me, knows that I’m a sucker for a good Family story. I love Family…not just mine, but the whole concept of it. And todays theme is such a sweet one. What parent doesn’t want to see their child do well…own a home, and put down roots of their own? But even better? What parent wouldn’t be proud as a peacock to have instilled into their child a good work ethic, and the rewards of financial responsibility? Yep, you gotta love this puzzle today…That you can take to the BANK…

Ok…Our words. With a page we could have BORROWED from yesterday, today we’re once again looking at one repeat anagram, TAAEB, from exactly a year ago today, February 06th, 2020, https://tinyurl.com/fza3f6xa and our other three words have also been seen before. And just as a POINT of INTEREST, …Abate must be a favorite word of David’s…because I stopped counting at twelve…and GUARANTEED, at the RATE I was going, I’m sure the NUMBER is at least DOUBLED…But as far as a stumper? None today…Great anagrams, but the Early Birds are CREDITed with being right on the MONEY…

And our cartoon? Today Jeff’s given us three Jumble characters, parents and their son, he in the process of applying for a mortgage. And while the parents are completely supportive of their sons desire to own a home of his own, and are willing to help him in any way they can, he’s proud to say that he’s got it covered…He’s worked hard, and he knows he can GO IT “A-LOAN”. https://tinyurl.com/5crypehu Well let’s PAY David a compliment…he’s SCOREd again…and it’s a DUE-zy!

Jeff’s Gems? The REAMS of paper work speaks for itself…But the husbands hand placed on his wife’s shoulder…the Mother reaching out to hold her sons hand? Really nice TOUCHES…So we CREDIT Jeff for bringing that loving feeling HOME…

So, There you have it, Folks…Done! Have a good day, Everyone. Be well, stay safe…and let’s all COUNT our blessings today…and try to PAY it forward…And with that I’m CLEAR TO CLOSE…BUY BUY!! 🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Always one to GO IT ALONE, he appreciated their TOKEN of kindness in an effort to help him BELONG, but wondered if their feelings were LIKELY to ABATE…🤷🏻‍♂️

🪙 He held his AA TOKEN, the coin he worked hard for,
He now felt that he did BELONG, and knew he’d try for more
Sobriety he had achieved, he prayed for no ABATE
He knew it could be LIKELY and he didn’t want that fate
His sponsor told him, “Keep in touch, I’m as close as the phone…
    Take one day at a time, I’m here…you can’t GO IT ALONE…” 🪙

  3. Very fitting song choice, Angela. I made one mistake, writing goblen (goblin) as my last word. But the answer was an easy one and I backed in. Wishing all a great day.

    • Good Morning, Caroline. Thank you…it was the first one that popped into my head. I always liked it. Writing the wrong letters? 🤦🏻‍♀️ How about me this morning? I posted with the first word being DO instead of GO…and I did it all the way through! The post, the sentence and my second rhyme! And I knew it was GO too! Well, at least I’m consistent! 😂That’s what I get for never writing any letters down! 😂…This flying by the seat of my pants just might be catching up with me! 😂 But yes, it was an easy one…and clever too! Wishing you a great day also, Caroline. Be well and stay safe…🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Not to worry, Chuck. We know. I’m just glad they got her…And it’s good to see you. I hope all is well with you and yours. 🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. Great minds think alike, Caroline. I too wrote down globen, thinking goblin, and actually didn’t realize my mistake until I solved the cartoon and realized I had a couple of wrong letters. Great song choice as always, Angela. Hope all of you have a good Saturday.

    • These fingernails! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Good Morning, again, Betty! As I was saying, I definitely agree with the great minds! And since we haven’t seen Belong all that often, that could be the reason it’s tripping people up today. Thanks for the song Shout Out…and how great is that old footage? Wishing you a good Saturday too, Betty. Be well and stay safe…🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. A surprisingly easy Saturday Jumble. Problem this morning was no paper, somehow didn’t arrive from Galesburg, 48 miles N of here. Fortunately I was able to access the puzzle online, and get the anagrams right quick w/a blind solve for the cartoon,

    • I’d already gone ahead and fixed it , Prof! 😉 And yes, definitely an easy, breezy one today! Be well, Prof…and stay safe. 🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

        • YVW, Professor…Any time. And it’s no problem. (Although you may have noticed that I was a little slow on “this”)! 😂 I’m a staunch believer in the old…John: Chapter 8, verse 7! And anyway, I found at least 6 of them in my main post this morning…AFTER I published it! Hey, https://tinyurl.com/10vsq6nt …Life’s definitely too short to sweat the small stuff, am I right? 😉 Hope you’re enjoying your day, Prof. Take care…🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Hi all – Easy one again today. I did see OBLONG and BONGLE before BELONG. The answer was pretty obvious.

🎵”I don’t have much money, but, boy if I did
I’d buy a big house where we both could live”🎵 “Your Song”, Elton John 1970
(I got chills watching this live version, with Elton still in effortless full command of that incredible voice)

With the recent stock market manipulations, I was thinking that one of the reports should have been titled “Hi-yo SILVER; away!” and written by the “Loan Arranger.”

Angela, I wondered whether the sentence in your post was inspired by “Guaranteed Rate Field”, home of the Chicago White Sox.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“The only place he felt he would BELONG was with his friends at the arcade, and his pinball fever LIKELY wouldn’t ABATE even after he’d spent his last TOKEN.”

    • Guaranteed Rate Field? Yeah, just me! You know how I hate these ridiculous new names for Sports Stadiums! (Not to mention Chicago)! 😂 Globe Life, Petco, Heinz, Levi’s, Minute Maid…Jeez! Petco??? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Money, money, money, money! (No pun intended)…Great shout out to Sir Elton, and I laughed at the Lone Ranger puns! 👏🏻👏🏻Hope your day’s going well, Steve…And stay safe out there…🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

      • The only thing more ridiculous are the names of some of the college football bowl games (“Poulon Weed Eater Bowl’, anyone? 😂)

        • IKR? What about Glass Bowl and J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome? As compared to what? Fish Bowl and Take The Elevator? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

  7. Fun and easy Jumble for a fine Saturday! BELONG bedeviled me however. Like your song Angela, everything goes good with those Liverpudlians….. It’s supposed to get up to 78 here today. C ya tomorrow

    • Very easy, Mig…and thanks. I could listen to them for days…Enjoy the weather…And stay safe out there…🏠🙋🏻‍♀️
