He was an ASCENDENT FOOL for trying to go out that way. I think he was going to a COLONNADE FEST. He probably thought he could do anything in a vehicle with a symbol on it that DENOTES FALCON. Perhaps there should have been a sign coming up to this booth saying CAD FELONS, NOTE. you can’t go out this way. And not only did the first tire deflate in ONE SECOND FLAT, but the other one became one SECOND FLAT,

My first blind guess for the answer was “one minute flat”, but after solving the words, there was no m. I quickly saw the answer was ONE SECOND FLAT. Overall, I found today’s puzzle to be very easy.

No problem until I got to the solution where all my tires went flat. I got ONE since THE wasn’t available. I don’t want to overthink these puzzles because they are just for fun! We have the cleanest air here in maybe 5-6 weeks and it is still dirty by most standards. New heat wave is here so hoping for little more fire/arson/homeless activity…..
Hi all – No problem with the words, but for a minute I thought I was going to have to give up on the answer. With “hurry” and “fast” in the dialog, I thought TIME would be in the answer, but the letters were wrong. Then I saw FAST in the letters, but figured it wouldn’t be in both the dialog and the answer. Finally saw FLAT in there, which led to SECONDS and then ONE SECOND.
I thought it was a more subtle pun than usual that no only did the tires deflate quickly, but that there was not just one, but also a SECOND FLAT. Glad to hear that others saw it also. I also liked the detail of the classic fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror.
