  1. Good Monday morning. Easy breezy from words to cartoon answer. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  2. Douse and carry were instant solves, but outing and lonely, despite the presence of ly,gave reason to pause. But “under control “was an obvious blind solve for the cartoon puzzle.Indeed a Monday Jumble.

  3. If today’s game was easy for you, then why not try this Monday puzzle from 2009. It was exactly 406 days into Jumble Jeff’s career!

    • 2 minutes 18 seconds (but who’s counting?) DOUSE was easy! 😂
The last word took a couple of jumbles, but it wasn’t UN-CAN-E. I’m surprised you didn’t ask “CANNUE solve this one?” 😂

  4. Not too often do you find an eleven letter answer without the vowels a,e or I. Just sayin’ . Happy Columbus Day!

  5. Are there words containing the letter y that don’t end in y ? I never see them in the jumble, just sayin..

  6. Good Morning, Everyone. 🇺🇸 Happy Columbus Day! 🇺🇸

🚊 To operate a subway train one needs to have a grip,
It can get LONELY underground…it’s often a long trip…
The operators CARRY out what’s needed for the OUTING,
While trying to be pleasant…although often there is pouting…
They need to DOUSE what trouble flares with those who go too slow
A schedule to adhere to can make resentment grow…
As long as passengers realize they can’t just lag and stroll
The operator’s happy…and keeps things UNDER CONTROL train 🚊

🧯Since he’d be alone, he wanted to be sure he had everything UNDER CONTROL, and decided to CARRY the extinguisher, just in case he needed to DOUSE a fire while on the LONELY OUTING..🧯

♥️ His feelings for her too intense, he looked to DOUSE the flame,
To CARRY his heart on his sleeve…not how to play the game…
He hated being LONELY, but love’s OUTING takes a toll,
And nothing will be gained lest he get things UNDER CONTROL …♥️

Have a good day, Everyone. Be well and stay safe out there. 🚊🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Still thinking about words with ‘Y’ that is not terminal. Perhaps someone is LYING in wait near the CYCLONE fence then escape on his CYCLE. Maybe wearing a YARMULKE to further disguise himself.

    • Yarmulke? We CAP off at 6 letters! Concentrate..concentrate! 😉🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Ok…Here’s some more…They’re (note the placement of my “Y”)! 😂…not in date order, since they’re 😉 all off the top of my head….🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Maybe I am just a CYNIC but I have never seen any of your non-terminal Y words!

        • 👏🏻👏🏻Definitely being a cynic! I’m giving you dates here! Would I lie to you? 😂🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Congrats to your Lakers, Mig, and good luck to your Dodgers, playing in that dark mausoleum in Texas instead of sunny warm San Diego.

  8. Hi all – An easy Monday all around today.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“Nothing could DOUSE the torch he would still CARRY on his LONELY OUTING to their former haunts.”

Geez, now local Bay Area star Joe Morgan is gone. If there’s been a worse week for losing great baseball players, I don’t remember it. Tom Seaver, Whitey Ford, Ron Perranowski, Bob Gibson, and I’m probably forgetting others.

    • Tom died in August, but yep. Definitely a heavy toll….What’d I say to you the other night? 😢🙋🏻‍♀️
