    🖥 We got ourselves a Techie…quite an IMPACT does she make,
    She seems to EMBODY skills that prove they’re far from fake…
    (I’m definitely scratching GALLEY…make it clear right from the start,
    I won’t waste time imagining where here it’d do it’s part)…
    So looking at our girl today, compared to me…no wonder
    No question it’d be more HUMANE to shoot me ‘fore I’d blunder…
    The EMBLEM’s where my smarts begins…it’s all a sticky WICKET,
    It ends there too…as far as tech? I can’t write my own ticket…
    But I applaud our girl right here…proficient as can be
    And proving to the impressed guy…she knows “TECH-KNOWLEDGE-Y” 🖥

    You definitely have to give props to these so called Computer Geeks. I wouldn’t even understand the innards of a manual if it came up and tried to BYTE me…But…I do FIX a kick … lasagna…so there’s that…

    Anyway, today’s words. Of our six, we’ve two doing double duty, BMMEEL, https://tinyurl.com/yyypl4z2 from 2018, and CIPMTA, https://tinyurl.com/y6cgj63a 2019, with the others having all appeared within the last three years…And despite a tic here and there, the Early Birds were FIXED for a good morning…with just two of them getting stumped by the solve…

    So, from what we’re seeing today, when our guy Mac was set up with PROcilla on a blind date, he obviously misunderstood when he thought he heard his friend describe her as high maintenance..Because what she is is High-Tech Maintenance. The girls a regular Whiz Kid. And we can definitely see how FIXated Mac is on her. Eyes agog, mouth agape…he’s a regular Babe in the Coulds …You know…If only he could. But PROcilla is working away, taking that unit apart, happy as a spark…and she does present a fine FRONT. The girl educated herself, and is proving that she definitely understood the “TECH-KNOWLEDGE-Y”! It’s EPYC!

  2. 🐐 Sitting in the ships new GALLEY, the embodiment of TECHNOLOGY, she was deep into a book about Gnomes, especially the chapter on a WICKET, but her mind wandered, and she wondered if it was HUMANE, and did it have an IMPACT on those young goats that she saw being used as lawn mowers at the tennis park… did it EMBODY the clubs beliefs..and did it have anything to do with its logo’s being an EMBLEM of a ram? 🐐

    📱He longed to work in printing…fascinated by the GALLEY,
    He hoped to get a job someday working for Rand-McNally…
    A love of words he’d always had…EMBODY or HUMANE,
    He couldn’t think of any word where he might feel disdain…
    He laughed at words like WICKET, silly words had an IMPACT,
    He saw himself working with maps, and yearned to make it fact…
    He’d wear a shirt, EMBLEM quite bold, be happy as can be…
    But first he’d need to digest all the new TECHNOLOGY …📱

  4. Good morning. The words were easy breezy but I had a devil of a time with the cartoon answer. I finally succeeded in the knowledge of getting the right answer. Like Helen Redding, I am Man and I am strong. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    With no ideas other than Y for the end of the answer, I put the puzzle aside. About an hour later, Tech popped into my brain and the rest followed. I liked your clever sentence with the goats, Angela. I’ve read that they are also good for weed control.

Your stump with the Y is exactly what got my friends this morning too…It’s definitely a bit of a stretch…And Kudos for sticking with it! …As for the goats…we have them out here!   7. Hi all – Once again, I’m glad I’m not the one who has to post these, because I had absolutely no clue on the answer. EMBLEM was the only word I had to come back to for a second look, though.

    The cartoon with the big old clunky computer case just makes me nostalgic, but glad I don’t have to do that anymore. For a programmer, I spent *way* too much time on my knees underneath desks and other cubbyholes with a kit of small screwdrivers etc like the cute little one the woman has there. Looks like she’s replacing a disk drive, and I hope she doesn’t cut her hand on a random metal edge.

    You got me with EPYC, Angela, but I looked it up and I see it was introduced in 2017, after I retired. At first I thought the guy was holding a potato, but a second look did show that it’s the mouse.

    I might be able to do a sentence, even with GALLEY in there, but the WICKET makes it too sticky for me today.

  8. Words came relatively easy today, not the solution. Actually a cute puzzle completion! Nice to see CWTKIE making an appearance, how many business school cases have revolved around that word?

  9. I’m with Caroline this morning. No problem with the anagrams but the only letter I could get initially in the cartoon was “y”. I put the puzzle away for over an hour, came back, saw tech and knowledge fell into place. Good mental workout. Hope all of you have a good Sunday.
