  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well. ⏱🙋🏻‍♀️

The Jumble Jems…It’s 5 PM…The Jewelry Stores’ bag has the encircled Jumble “J” logo…And if you look real closely, the man and woman seen walking in the background, most likely through a mall, since we can see a potted plant, are wearing masks. The man is definitely sporting a glove on his right hand that’s visible, while the woman may be wearing one also, on her left…but it’s not as clearly defined. If I had to guess? I’d say she’s got it covered…😉. Be well, Everyone. Stay safe. ⏱🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. ⚽️ It looked like there might be a MUTINY amongst the ranks of the SOCCER Board, when the daily GRIND of preparedness began to wear thin on their nerves, as it OFTEN does, and some of them felt that it was definitely TIME TO GO…⚽️

🤷🏻‍♀️ It happened way too OFTEN, that he’d GRIND his teeth at night,
And his wife, although quite patient, felt her nerves grow ever tight…
She knows he’s stressed with SOCCER, his team not doing well,
But this incessant grinding’s making her nights kin to hell
There may be MUTINY brewing…she’s exhausted and it shows…
Another night like this one? It might be his TIME TO GO! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. Good morning. My choice for hardest word was Mutiny. I was stuck so I went to the cartoon and in no time at all I realized that I needed an M and T to solve that elusive word. It took less than a minute to finally get It. Until tomorrow stay well.

  4. Soccer had me momentarily stumped looking like corse at first, but the cartoon solution, time to go,and the other anagrams were a Monday level snap.

  5. In no time I thought of TIME. Needing an M and a T, I saw MUTINY without a grind. Time to go out and cut the grass before the rain.

  6. Steve, Thanks for your input from yesterday’s puzzle! I have many fond memories of the Presidio of Monterey where I spent five and a half months studying German – courtesy of the the US Army. Just curious as to whether she meant that Presidio.

    • You’re welcome, Chuck. Begging Betty’s pardon to speak for her, I’m sure she meant the SF Presidio because it’s close to her neighborhood. There are some views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the ocean and its surroundings that you get driving through there that made me pinch myself to make sure they were actually real.
I also had two years of German in school, but I remember almost nothing from them. Have you ever seen Mark Twain’s essay “The Awful German Language”? 😂

      • I get the distinct impression that Sam Clemens didn’t care for the German language. Thanks, Steve.

  7. Hi all – Another easy one today, with the double letter trick working for SOCCER.

Thanks for the detail that it was 5 o’clock, Angela – I would have missed that.
Also strange that the couple is wearing masks, but the unrelated clerk and customer talking two feet apart are not.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“The often-fired SOCCER coach never caught on that the unnecessarily strict GRIND of his college teams’ practices would OFTEN cause a MUTINY when he tried them with professional players.”

    • Yep…And stranger still, the clerk’s not wearing gloves, which you would think that in serving the public, she would be. Also note there’s no hand sanitizer on the counter either…again odd since the shop’s dealing with a product that has no wrapping, and is handled in such a manner. But, as stated, I was just going for the “Jems”..Yet now, since you opened the Pandora’s box, I’m approaching it as a NY’er. Our malls are only allowing customers into stores that are directly accessible from the outside, that have separate entrances from the mall itself. The rest is all still curbside pickup. And you can tell that this shop is inside the mall. I guess it’s all just a matter of where you live…And wherever this is…(Thank God)…It’s Five O’ Clock…Somewhere! https://tinyurl.com/q9339ao…Be well, Bunco…Stay safe. ⏱🙋🏻‍♀️
