KK CHI RSS INE = RISK HIS NECK

Good Morning, Everyone! 🦒WHERE WERE YOU RAISED…IN A JUNGLE? 🦒

🎶 You RAISE ME UP...so I can stand on mountains…You RAISE ME UP…up to walk on stormy seas…I am strong when I am on your shoulders…You RAISE ME UP to more than I can be…🎶 “You Raise Me Up” – Josh Groban 2003

🦒 Is our couple on Safari here…but they’re not dressed in KHAKI
And for some reason I’m thinking…does this look somewhat wacky?
I don’t think there’s DURESS at play, but then I wouldn’t know,
‘Cause the thought of being in the wild? Not me I’d never go.
My mind could hardly fathom it, the thought no way’d INFUSE
With stifling heat and animals?…There’s nowhere enough booze…
So are they just taking a ride, to CHILL and what? Sightsee?
I guess it might be feasible…but it’s just not for me…
And now unfortunately they’ve gotten in a wreck…
But what a break..here’s a giraffe willing to RISK HIS NECK! 🦒

It’s going to be a short one today, Folks…No pun intended! We’ve no new words, and we’ve got quite a bit of a stretch between the old and the new. DURESS reaches way back to 03/17/10, while we last saw KHAKI this past March 26th. And despite all four anagrams being first timers, the Early Birds weren’t stuck on any of them…

Ok, our cartoon. Again, I’m not exactly sure where we are, but I’m gonna stick my neck out and say it’s the outskirts of the Jungle. We see George, and his wife, (I didn’t catch her name), and they’ve fallen off the road and crashed their Jeep. Jeepers! Probably thinking they were goners, who comes along but Geoffrey Giraffe. Who seems to know enough to dig way down into the depths of reasoning, and use his neck as a pulley. I’m telling you, this guy must be head and shoulders above the rest of his TOWER to come up with this idea. And “tow” her he did…Her first, and now he’s getting ready to lift George out. Yep, he’s definitely willing to RISK HIS NECK! Way to go, David. You’ve driven home another good one….

Eye candy? Two other giraffes, standing under an Acacia tree way in the background. And the mangled remains of the green Jeep lying in the ravine. But I’m going to go with that startled look on Geoffrey’s face. Long and short of it? I definitely think he’s second guessing himself…Poor guy…got in a little over his head, didn’t he? So, There you have it folks, Done! Have a great day, Everyone! And let’s all try uplifting one another today…SO LONG! …🦒🙋🏻

  1. Good Morning, Mike. Good Morning, Everyone…Here’s to uplifting one another. Have a great day! 🦒🙋🏻

🥤Under DURESS to promote the new energy drink in its’ KHAKI colored can, but uncomfortable with the ingredients they chose to INFUSE it with, the salesman was willing to RISK HIS NECK and told the company he decided to CHILL and sit out the campaign…🥤

🤸🏻‍♀️She had indulgent parents, CHILL and laid back as they come,
But once they saw those KHAKI shorts…the trouble had begun…
Now she felt under DURESS to get them to accept,
The fact that getting older, to adult dressing she’d leapt…
But all she heard was ..“When did you become so cavalier,
To think that Daisy Dukes would be ok while you lived here?
We tried to INFUSE morals, and we feel we’ve done our best…
But now you’re putting all our trust and patience to the test…”
Her Father put his foot down, hoping their bond wouldn’t be wrecked,
But he was adamant and stood willing to RISK HIS NECK …🤸🏻‍♀️

  2. An earlier than usual Jumble attempt for me this morning.Infuse was looking like an errant spelling of funnies at first, but lacking a third vowel for the cartoon solve, I went back to the drawing board, and came up with infuse. Then with 3 vowels available and neck an obvious 4 letter solution,”risk his neck”came to mind.Stay dry.

    • Good Morning, Professor. You’re early…and we’re late! Have a great day, and let’s hope the storm won’t be as bad as they’re predicting. 🦒🙋🏻

  3. Hi all – Using ‘UN’ in the last word didn’t help, but then I saw ‘FUSE’. Even with the double letter trick, the third word took me the longest. Mike, Angela and others often say they enjoy a challenge, so I guess they would “SAY YES TO DURESS”. For the answer, thought LEND A HAND or STICK HIS NECK OUT, but the letter layout showed the solution.

If that’s George in the Jungle, Angela, the woman’s name is probably Fella or Ursula.

Have a great day, everyone! Good luck with that Northeast storm; may it pass quickly.

“Under DURESS from his models, the designer was forced to RISK HIS NECK and INFUSE thermal fibers in his KHAKI collection to ward off the CHILL on the runway.”

  4. Duress was the word that took me the longest to solve. I thought the cartoon answer would be stick his neck out but not so. All in all an easy Wednesday. Hope all of you have a good day.

    • Hi Betty. Duress is leading in the poll, so you’re definitely in good company. And wishing you a good day too! 🦒🙋🏻

  6. Good evening. I know it’s a little late but I had to give Angela props for the nice song video. Really enjoyed it. I was out the door early for doctor appointment and then the Dentist. What a fun day. It could have only been better if I also had to visit the proctologist. Lol. There was absolutely no duress in doing today’s jumble. I didn’t breeze through it but, solved both parts in a reasonable amount of time. Until tomorrow stay well.
