Happy Tuesday morning everyone!  It was a very easy solve for me today with all of the clue words coming instantly.  If I had to choose the most challenging word of the group, SPIRAL would be my pick.  The cartoon answer was only 7 letters and was a snap to figure out as well.  Here’s a few fun facts about the Supremes:  The first single the group recorded was “I Want a Guy” and was released in April of 1961.  It was considered a dud and it wasn’t until August of 1964 that they had their first #1 hit being “Where Did Our Love Go”.  Interestingly enough, the song was written for The Marvelettes but they passed on it!  Have a terrific Tuesday and I’ll see you tomorrow!  🙂

Good Monday morning my friends!  It’s always great getting away for awhile, but nothing feels as good as being home.  A big THANK YOU to Angela for keeping the answers flowing and doing an excellent write-up every morning.  All of your hard work was greatly appreciated!!!  😊👍🏻

I must admit that I only glanced at the puzzles last week and never really attempted any of them so it felt great to shake off the rust and get back to work.  The only clue word to give me some pause was ISLAND but it was a breeze after breaking out my notepad and doing a little self-jumbling.  The cartoon answer was more difficult than I expected for a Monday morning with none of the words coming into view immediately.  I figured my best bet was to tackle the three letter word first but none of the usual suspects worked (the, and, or was).  After reading the dialogue and sentence, HIS popped into view with WILL coming next.  At that point, I had the whole answer and was amazed that it left AGAINST spelled almost perfectly in the letter layout.  My favorite part of the cartoon was the way Jeff framed it and had us looking at the couple in their garage.  If you look closely at the top of the cartoon, you can see the garage door.

For some reason I stopped getting email alerts of new posts about halfway through last week and I’m not sure why this started happening.  I now understand what some of you folks were experiencing and I’ll try to fix it if possible.  Have an enjoyable Monday and I’ll see you tomorrow!  🙂
