🏁🏎 Good morning. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN START YOUR ENGINES… 🏁🏎

Welcome to the Jumble coverage of the Indy 500! We got what we were waiting for, a true ‘Day-themed’ puzzle! Today, we bring the Indy into its 2nd Century, with the 101st running of this iconic race.  200 laps, 500 miles, “Kiss The Bricks”, “Drink The Milk”, we got it all! You already saw all the answers, so let’s take a moment, and talk about the race. Me first.  This pretty much sums up what I know about the Indy:  HELIO CASTRONEVES! HE-LI-O.  Ok, that’s all I got!  LOL. No, seriously, talk about “Start your Engines”, “Kiss the Bricks”, “Happy Hour”, and “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing”…. HELIO! (Listen, y’day we gave Mike his comic books, today I’m taking my HELIO)!   Hopefully today, he’ll win it for the 4th time. Ok, enough, your turn. Scott Dixon’s in pole position, the winner gets the Borg-Warner Trophy, and it might rain in Indiana. (Feel free to add any other personal Indy thoughts in your post)!  LOL…Oh yes, the puzzle…I found the compilation of today’s words a RUNaWAY hit! The scrambles were fantastic! UNFAIR was a little hard to look at, am I right? Same with ENOUGH? But everyday words, easy ENOUGH!  The solve.  A little bit of a “Hmm” here. I think we all look for “the” or “and” when we see that 3 letter box. HA! Not today. The key to today’s solve was the cartoon pic. The track. Knowing we had the  necessary letters, after filling in the only 5 letter word, the rest was a WIN. “No one going to catch him”…”He’s the champ” = the winner. And now, the cartoon itself. Jeff, once again, Kudos! So much detail! The Scoring Pylon, is filled with the teeniest tiniest numbers. How does he do it? (I can’t help thinking he’d be great at applying mascara)!  LOL. The blimp! “PLAY JUMBLE”, emblazoned on the peach colored aerial advertising on the banner towing plane! The tiny multi colored cars!…The woman…The woman, (daily Jumblists, can you guess)?!! LOL… So, I should wrap this up, huh? Talk about MOTOR mouth! Just one more thing, if I may?  …19th pole position, Car 3, Team Penske. HELIO.  Can’t you just see that face framed in the Winner’s Wreath! (Sorry, I’m just so DRIVEN to disTRACTION)!
