Good morning everyone and TGIF!  It was 4 degrees outside when I woke up this morning — but even that wasn’t enough to keep me from running outside (barefoot) to get my newspaper so I could do the Jumble.  The clue words were excellent today and quite unique.  I sprinted through them all except CLAMOR which made me look at it twice before I got it.  With all of them solved it was on to the cartoon.  Jeff really knocked it out of the park with this one!  I really enjoyed the chef looking at the Jumble in the newspaper and the dialogue between all of them.  I think there’s a name on the chefs jacket, and it appears to start with a J but it’s too small to make out.  Looking at my letters, I decided to start with odd letter which was J as well.  I saw JUMBLE immediately and LIAR was quick to find for a super funny pun that put a big smile on my face.  I forgot to mention that I’ve already finished Saturday’s puzzle and it’s a bit of a head scratcher.  Have an excellent day and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀

Happy Thursday my friends!  SUITE was the word that gave me a challenge this morning.  It took a couple of minutes to decipher and I was surprised that a 5 letter word stumped me.  With all of the clue words solved it was full speed ahead to the cartoon puzzle.  I saw the quotes and thought it was going to be really difficult to figure out.  After reading the dialogue and looking at my letters, I noticed TECH almost in perfect letter order.  The rest was a snap to finish giving us a funny pun.  The bitter cold is starting to set in and I can hear the winds picking up so that means the Polar Vortex is just about here.  The high temperature will be 25 degrees today and a low of 2.  With the wind chill they say it will feel like -20!  It is the middle of December so I have no right to complain.  Be well and I’ll see you tomorrow unless I turn into a popsicle!  😋

Good Wednesday morning everyone!  The clue word choices were excellent today and very well jumbled.  I don’t recall seeing AUTHOR or INEPT recently and they may be new to the game.  I didn’t have any trouble with them and it was straight to the cartoon.  Looking at the letters available to me, IT was my first guess for the two letter word.  UNEARTH was easy to see after that for a fantastic finish.  Did anyone notice the alien skull that Jeff slipped into the puzzle?  It may have been difficult to see in the newspaper version of the cartoon but it was clearly visible in the online one.  I really enjoyed the dark and crisp black background as well — great outer space feel.  Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀🚀👽

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday!  The sun is shining and the birds are chirping so let’s greet the day with a brand new Jumble.  The first three clue words were relatively easy.  I did get hung up on SEASON for a minute and I was glad that I did.  The clue words weren’t much of a challenge since Sunday so today I took advantage of being stumped by slowing down and taking more time to appreciate the puzzle as well as the cartoon.  I was talking to my wife the other night about replacing our deck this spring with new Trex decking so I should show her this puzzle if I run into trouble installing it!  Today was one of those days where all I had to do was look at the clue letters and the answer jumped off the page at me.  It was a great pun and a fun solve that left me wanting more.  The Just Jumble App was updated so I can do a few more puzzles there while I finish my coffee.  Until tomorrow, my friends!  😉

Good Monday morning my friends!  The clue words were well jumbled but posed no real problem this morning.  If you were hung up on one of the words, BEIGE would most likely be the culprit.  With all of them solved it was on to the cartoon.  Looking at the letters, I wasn’t too sure where to start.  The dialogue had me thinking that one of the words would have something to do with time.  On a whim I wrote down WHEN and that’s when everything fell neatly into place.  BACK was next and WEIGH finished it for a stinky pun!  It’s a wintry mix here in the Granite State this morning.  It’s too warm here at the coast for snow so all we have is a sloppy mix of less than an inch.  The upper part of the state will have 3-8 inches when it’s all said and done. The school gave the kids a 2 hour delay and my newspaper is late so I had to do the puzzle from the online edition.  Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow!  🙂

Happy Saturday morning everyone!  The weekend is here and there’s no better way to kick it off than with a Jumble puzzle. I solved all the clue words quickly this morning and breezed right to the cartoon portion of the program.  OF seemed like the obvious choice for the two letter word so I went with it.  Looking at the remaining letters, I found SIGNS and LIFE was right there to put this Jumble away and solve the pun!  I have so much to get done today in preparation of the snow storm that will ge coming my way on Sunday night.  First on my list is to go get another ton of wood pellets for my stove and the second is to clean out a bay in my garage to store my car for the winter season.  Be well my friends and I’ll see you tomorrow.  🙂

Good morning everyone and happy Thursday!  I managed to breeze through the clue words this morning but had to take a little time with the cartoon puzzle.  There were so many three letter possibilities that I had to list them all out on my notepad.  I was sure that YOU was in the solution so that was the word I started with.  Slowly but surely I pecked away at each one until all the words fit to complete the silly pun.  Jeff gave us another great cartoon featuring David in his Cubs jersey and it looks like everyone is having a great time.  I’m not sure why David doesn’t have as many chips as the other folks — either he’s not doing so hot or they’re all high value ones and he’s a true card shark!  Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow.  ♠️♣️♥️♦️

Good morning everyone!  We’re half way through another week so let’s see what the Jumble has in store for us today.  POETIC was the only speed bump in the clue words today.  I know we’ve seen it recently, however it was so well jumbled that I just didn’t get it straight away.  The cartoon was well drawn but didn’t pose any problems.  THAT’S was the word I found first leaving SUPER and MAN to be quickly solved giving us a really stinky pun.  It’s snowing again this morning but we’re not going to get any accumulation.  I guess my shovel and my back will both get the day off.  Have a SUPER day and I’ll see you tomorrow!  🙂

Happy Tuesday everyone and I hope your week is off to a great start.  After solving yesterday’s puzzle in a flash I was hoping for a real brain teaser this morning — and I sure got what I wished for!  We’ve seen MODEM a few times recently so it was still fresh in my brain.  BURRO was a bit of a challenge but it wasn’t too difficult to solve as it was only five letters.  CRANNY was the word that gave me a headache and I had a real tough time deciphering it.  Since there was a Y, I figured it would be at the end of the word so that’s where I started.  I had to do a lot of “self jumbling” on my notepad to come up with the word.  With all of the clue words solved, it was on to the cartoon puzzle.  Nothing popped out at me upon first glance so I started looking for clues. The attendant was overly helpful so I knew it would be a play on that.  After reading the dialogue a few times I realized that the attendant didn’t have a title and he looked like an ORDERLY and sure enough it was there!  MANNER jumped out at me next to finish this super fun Jumble!  We received a touch of snow yesterday and my bird feeder was very active this morning.  I figured I’d share a pic of this beautiful Cardinal munching away on some bird seed.  I have a small solar owl at the bottom of the feeder to scare away squirrels but they could care less.  Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀

Good Sunday morning everyone!  VACANT was the only word that tripped me up this morning and it took me a good 5 minutes to figure it out.  At first I refused to jumble the letters on my notepad because I was sure I could figure it out in my head.  After skipping it and finishing the rest of the clue words as well as the cartoon puzzle, I had the letters I needed and backed into the answer.  This was an instance where the clue words were much more difficult than the cartoon.  So much to do on this beautiful chilly Sunday.  Take care and I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning!  😀

Happy Saturday morning my friends!  My newspaper doesn’t print a Saturday edition but they do print the puzzle and include it in the Friday copy.  It’s the best day of the week because I get to do two Jumble puzzles on the same day!  I had some difficulty with OUTDO mostly because it didn’t look right to me.  I tried to find another word but decided to give up and moved on to the cartoon with what I had.  I managed to get the solution rather quickly and found AROUND first.

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you’re having a great morning and feeling well today.  It seems like everyone I know is coming down with a cough or cold so I hope I’m not the next victim…  Another fun puzzle this morning with the first two words on the more difficult side.  I managed to solve them both with just a minor pause on DOUSE.  With all of the clue words solved it was on to the cartoon which featured the “Just One Bite Bakery”.  Kudos to you if you could make out the names of the cookies and pies.  I’m sure they had funny names, however, the placards were too small and the only one I could decipher was Apple Pie.  Perhaps “Humble Jumble Pie” or “Mixed-Up Macaroons” were also baked up fresh for the customers.   IT seemed like the correct two letter word so that’s were I started.  With a little self jumbling of the letters I found DESSERTED to complete the pun and solve the puzzle.  Enjoy your day and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😊🍪🍰
