Happy Tuesday everyone and I hope your week is off to a great start.  After solving yesterday’s puzzle in a flash I was hoping for a real brain teaser this morning — and I sure got what I wished for!  We’ve seen MODEM a few times recently so it was still fresh in my brain.  BURRO was a bit of a challenge but it wasn’t too difficult to solve as it was only five letters.  CRANNY was the word that gave me a headache and I had a real tough time deciphering it.  Since there was a Y, I figured it would be at the end of the word so that’s where I started.  I had to do a lot of “self jumbling” on my notepad to come up with the word.  With all of the clue words solved, it was on to the cartoon puzzle.  Nothing popped out at me upon first glance so I started looking for clues. The attendant was overly helpful so I knew it would be a play on that.  After reading the dialogue a few times I realized that the attendant didn’t have a title and he looked like an ORDERLY and sure enough it was there!  MANNER jumped out at me next to finish this super fun Jumble!  We received a touch of snow yesterday and my bird feeder was very active this morning.  I figured I’d share a pic of this beautiful Cardinal munching away on some bird seed.  I have a small solar owl at the bottom of the feeder to scare away squirrels but they could care less.  Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀

  1. I loved the picture – I used to live in the east and sometimes I miss the winter weather — but not too often.
    I got all the words without any trouble – yes even cranny — the puzzle was a whole different ballgame.

    • Great job on getting all of the words Rita! Where in the east did you live? I’d be lost without a true four seasons. Although I’m sure my mind will change as I get older! 😊

  2. I did not have to spend time on the first three words and could kick myself for having trouble getting FEMALE; when it finally jumped out at me, I had to laugh that I did not see it sooner. I felt that manner was the second word of the puzzle and took me a little while to get orderly. Have a good day! 🙂
