CARTOON ANSWER:

GOOD POLICY
HAPPY MONDAY
PUZZLE PLAYERS!
🍺 PREMIUM ADVICE

Today’s cartoon plants us at a bar where two guys having a drink turn a casual moment into a real conversation. One guy brings up that work is offering life insurance and asks what he thinks about it. The other guy doesn’t miss a beat, coming back with an answer that makes it clear it’s something he shouldn’t put off any longer, especially with marriage and a family now in the mix. The way he delivers it makes it feel less like advice and more like common sense.

🔎 Jumble Jeff’s Jems

➤ THE GUY ON THE LEFT

The man on the left is younger, wearing a short-sleeved shirt, and holding a pint glass resting on a napkin on the bar.

➤ THE GUY ON THE RIGHT

The man on the right is older, wearing glasses with thinner hair combed over from left to right. He has on a short-sleeve V-neck shirt layered over an undershirt and has an old-fashioned glass cradled in his left hand.

➤ THE BAR SETTING

The background shows a bar with paneling running along the wall behind them. Another soul is seated on a stool off to the left, and a television is mounted above showing a baseball game with a right-handed batter at the plate.

🧠 FINAL SOLVE

The final answer was a 10-letter anagram that would solve into a 4 + 6 layout. Our first puzzle of the work week was not an instant solve, but pretty close. Breezing through the clue words, the PO sitting together at the front of the anagram brought POLICY into view quickly, leaving GOOD to be found in a flash from the remaining letters. If today’s solve slowed you down, the dialogue centered around insurance pointed straight to POLICY, and the response about it being a smart idea helped seal it, giving us GOOD POLICY.
