🦶 SOLE SEARCH
Today’s cartoon shows us a moment where Jumble Jeff has officially hit his limit. He has been pushing through the pain all day, but now it is game over and his ankle is the one calling the shots. Kathy is not surprised in the slightest and already has his doctor appointment lined up for later in the day. This is clearly a slow burn kind of injury, the kind you ignore until it refuses to be ignored. Now he is left saying something he probably wished he never had to.

🧠 FINAL SOLVE
The final answer was a 14-letter anagram that would solve into a 6 + 3 + 2 + 3 layout. This one was no easy feet, as those smaller words really took the longest to sort out. By the way the cartoon sentence was worded, I figured TO and HIM would be in there somewhere. Noticing the action lines around the ankle pointed to PAIN, leaving SAY and an -ED suffix to be tacked on for the finish. If this one gave you trouble, our nudges were those action lines around the ankle, along with him finally admitting to his wife that she was right.
