🚘 DEWY have a problem? 🚘
It was supposed to be exam day at beauty school, but one student’s plans got stuck in park. When her ride wouldn’t cooperate she showed up too late to take her test. Luckily, her instructor waived it off, even going so far as to offer to reschedule it for her. And while her test was pushed back, her classmate’s mirror showed nothing but success. Her radiant reflection revealing a face that will no doubt pass with flying colors! Our sidelined student may have missed her chance today, but her next one’s already idling nearby.

💎 Jumble Jeff’s Jems 💎
-
“Base Layer”
The school’s name, The Foundation Education Center, couldn’t have been more fitting. It is visible on the door to the classroom. -
“Through the Looking Glass”
Framing the classmate’s reflection through the mirror instead of showing her face gave us a unique point of view. -
“Brush with Greatness”
On the station sat a compact, a color palette, a powder brush, an eyelash brush, and an eyeliner pencil. In her left hand was a mascara applicator.
🧠 Final Solve 🧠
The layout for the final solve was a 6 + 4 split for a total of ten letters. The cartoon sentence was the real giveaway. All those products on display gave me “makeup,” and once the professor mentioned rescheduling, it was easy to connect “exam” with “test.” Add in the beauty clue, and the answer blended right in. When the student missed her exam, she would need to take a: MAKEUP TEST.
