💎 Jumble Jeff’s Jems 💎
➤ You can see his hammer on the tool belt, and if you look closely inside the pouch, there are nails tucked in there.
➤ The house number 1954 is a playful nod to the year the Jumble was first published.
➤ Her pinky extended while holding the caulking gun is a fun little detail. You can also see the plunger inside the tube is ready, too. She sure means business.
🧠 Puzzle Analysis 🧠
The final solve was a layout of 7+3+7. THE came to mind quickly, and the letters were right there, so crossing them out allowed PROBLEM to come into view. That left the remaining letters to form ADDRESS, making the cartoon’s answer click perfectly. Between the hammer and nails on the tool belt and the ready-to-go caulking gun, the couple looked determined to keep that 1954 number secure. With all the right tools in place, it was clear they were finally ready to: ADDRESS THE PROBLEM.
