    Have stocked some obscure albums, “SMELLY LEMUR”…about ten…
    The BRUNCH crowd has just broken, and so some people PAUSE,
    To look in through the windows…and most are there because…
    …Jeff Tweedy’s newest album’s ‘bout to hit shelves…that’s why…
    And music lovers are all out…glad that they live…“NEAR-BUY” 💽

    And this puzzle…about MUSIC…is so easy, breezy, we got to RECORD it in no time FLAT..

    So…Today, the “B Side – Music & More” Shop. And you know what they say…Location, location, location…So they made sure to choose a neighborhood that would bring in the most business, (=BUYS), that would PLAY to the right audience…and they chose well. Because NEAR to their shop?…Across the street, a theater, and next to it, “Jeff’s Joint”.     Jeff’s💎Gems? …Fasten your seatbelt…there’s so much to savor here…The aforementioned theater: The marquee reads: “An Evening With Wilco”,   https://tinyurl.com/yc5fbwyeand the poster on its wall reads, “Autumn Defense, https://tinyurl.com/y2jr3772 (comprised of bandmates, Pat Samsone and John Stirratt, who are pictured)…Coming Soon”. “Jeff’s Joint”,’s signage advertises “Live Music” and “Cold Beer”, and if you look closely, you’ll see a bar stool at a table inside…And a bearded man, playing the guitar stands between the two buildings. Both Cheryl and Audrey are wearing shirts bearing the shop’s logo…”B Side”…and the box in Cheryl’s hands reads “dBpm”, which is Wilco’s record label. Kathy and Jeff…both gazing upward at the signage…and smiling…This today is an amazing cartoon…Jeff definitely has himself a HIT…

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and while I have many a friend whose stories would fit our theme today, I think I’ve written enough, and I’m just not in the GROOVE to say any more…so SCRATCH that…and I’ll just TURN the TABLES…and DRAW this to a close…💽🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Hi Angela, Can you post about how do we decide which anagram was too much trouble? Do we click on a choice you give that might have stumped us but finally got the answer to, sometimes I don’t get a word but get the answer and work backwards. Do I check that I didn’t have trouble getting the answer and check the word that was troublesome?

        • I already answered this person’s question when they asked on Friday. I’m not sure why they’d be asking again. There’s no science to it…it’s just an entertainment piece…🤷🏻‍♀️

  2. 👧🏻👦🏻The children were busy making up a story about a SMELLY LEMUR that lived NEARBY, but agreed to PAUSE for BRUNCH…👦🏻👧🏻

    🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️Discussion over BRUNCH that day was ‘bout their child’s request,
    He’d asked them for a LEMUR…and of course they did protest…
    He’d read about them in a book, but they for sure took PAUSE,
    The SMELLY ugly creature would no way enter their doors
    They’ll take him to a pet shop…hoping something catch his eye…
    But plan it for next Tuesday…since there’s no pet shop NEARBY…🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. 💽 Once vinyl was really the rage,
    But since then went stage after stage…
    But the music holds sway,
    There’s just no other way…
    And we’ve all different tastes that engage…💽

    🏢Years ago record shops were the norm,
    They had taken some areas by storm…
    Business always did well,
    Music def a groundswell…
    But then things just began to transform…🏢

    🤷🏻‍♂️Shops began to close doors one by one,
    And before long…the record shops done…
    Music of course remained,
    We were still entertained…
    But with them went a pastime of fun…🤷🏻‍♂️

    💽 Hours spent looking through all the stacks,
    It just had such a certain impact…
    Linear notes that we read,
    And the opinions spread…
    Were all part of buying our wax…🏢

    🎶 So today here with our puzzle’s theme,
    Makes one wonder…how great it would seem…
    To have record shops back,
    Vinyl…stack after stack…
    To a music lover? Def a dream…🎶

  6. I solved today’s puzzle with somewhat of a blind solve, but didn’t really understand the significance of the pun….I guess NEAR….BY/BUY was the operative there. Anyway, got the job done…Thanks for the post, as always, Angela. Terry

  7. Good morning. I got the words then put the letters down and saw the quotation marks so I farmed it out to my youngest ones then while waiting for them to see it I figured it’s only 7 letters so I’ll give it a shot and came up with the correct answer even though I thought it couldn’t be because it was so easy. You just never know. Enjoyed your post Angela because you explain all the hidden gems I never see even with the magnifying glass. Thank you. Until tomorrow take care.

  8. Loved cherry popsicles as a kid, my favorite. As far as today’s Jumble, I solved 3/4 anagrams and saw I needed the U and R from the first anagram for the cartoon solution, “near- buy”, thus stumbled into that lemur solution. Chuck.

  9. Good morning. I had trouble with the anagram Lemur like a lot of people did per the results. I had to back it in with the letters U and R after solving the cartoon puzzle.   10. I’m back on the jumble track again and very fun to have some tacos today ! All the anagrams were there except for LEMUR , but that didn’t stop me from! The solution came right out NEAR BUY ! I’m back in the saddle ! And Angela as always a good song choice and Jeff’s gems were very awesome ! This was a great taco Tuesday ! Yea , with only 7 letters , it was fun , and it’s always complete for your comment ! Have some tacos and let’s get Oberlin over the hump Wednesday !!!!!!

    So the location just has to make sense

    To get folk to shop local

    That’s a goal that is focal

    As is a population that’s really dense!

      To ensure that they’ve picked,
      One that will do the trick…
      The very best cream-of-the-crop…👀

      That will make it a home…

      So there’s no way they’ll ever see ruin…
      Music wafts through the air,
      Of this neighborhood here…

      It’s not a case of the more or less…
      They searched and they found,
      Ideal common ground….
