Jeff’s💎Gems? The pirate in the background, at left, looks to be HOLDING UP an ornate plate of some sort, but I’m just DISHing here because I’m not sure. It has a resemblance to the Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Championship Trophy…but that may be open to DISCussion..Either way though, he does seem to be pretty OVERjoyed with snagging it…whatever it is…There’s a house on fire, and a pirate carrying the torch. And the goblet that Captain Sigh’s staring at lends true testament to his “My cup runneth OVER”…But the real AYE opener here today? Look very closely at the items being LUG-ged AWEIGH in the crate by the TOOTHSOME (pun definitely intended) pirate speaking with the Captain. Besides the ARRRay of plates, bowls, candlesticks and a fork, there looks to be a cell phone at top! I could be wrong…but if it is, it’s hilarious…and I just had to CALL it to your attention…

It’s taco-Tuesday party time ! I love it when all the anagrams and the jumble comes right to you ! That’s the case today ! I did raise an eyebrow a little bit on TRENDY , but then I got it ! Then when o studied the two words that made the pirate feel , pillaging and plundering , it gave me a mood of my head shaking ! So when I got it , I yelled out “ Shiver me. Timbers “ ! What a great jumble ! Angela your song was perfect with two of the best female singers ! And I always like your details of Jeff’s gems ! This was a great taco-Tuesday jumbles ! Fun Jumble on this very cold day. It is one degree outside my window as I write this. The anagrams were all there for me and the quotation marks helped with the final solve. Missed the puzzle answer this morning, even with anagrams solved. Somehow I couldn’t get DRIVE or DRIVER out of my head. Anyway, congrats to those who achieved the right answer today. Terry
It’s minus 11 in the hinterlands this morning. Anagrams easy but puzzle not so much. Saw Over immediately but Raided was a no. I will DOUBLE my efforts tomorrow in a VITAL bid to stay TRENDY but juice of the BERRY is the prescription tonight.
A frigid -7 degrees in W Central Illinois, but I warmed up with a clean sweep of the anagrams and even the hyphenated in quotes cartoon. I was clearly hotter than the frigid weather. Chuck.
Took a little work to get ‘double’. The others weren’t so bad. Only questioned that pirates were on land. Vikings were the land raiders. Pirates were only on water. Still arrrrgggh!
