🚛 After the truck from the “DOGGONE IT” pet supply company caused a GOUGE in the street, right where they STOOD, the SUDDEN decision was made to FORBID vehicles of that size from entering…🚛
🤦🏻♂️Heaven FORBID they STOOD their ground and just banded together, Against the insane pricing GOUGE of their needed fine leather… Too SUDDEN had it come about…they’re left with scraps and bits… It’s no wonder the battle cry is now “Oh, DOGGONE IT”! 🤦🏻♂️
📺 Back then before VCR’s hit, Missing TV shows caused quite a fit… People gathered each night, At TVs…black and white… So they wouldn’t miss one little bit…📺
🐶Lassie had herself quite a fan base, People fell in love with that sweet face… And they’d sit ‘fore their set, But most times feel regret… When Lassie’d be off on a chase…🐶
🐶…Seems like Timmy would always get caught, In some situation causing fraught… But Lassie’d go get help, With her bark and her yelp… As she raced for the aid Timmy sought…🐶
📺 And for years this is how the show went, Viewers tuned in 100%… Til that one day in Spring, A last show proved to bring… An ending against all consent…📺
1️⃣9️⃣Shy of twenty years…it bid adieu, Leaving so many viewers quite blue… But she had a good run, Before they said “Doggone”… And replaced it with a show anew…1️⃣9️⃣
One of the regular TV shows I watched growing up was Lassie ! And this jumble was a classic ! The anagrams were all there and the jumble was as comforting and loyal as Lassie was ! I’m gonna get me some tacos for this excellent taco-Tuesday solve ! What a great one today , starting off with Marvin Gaye song ! It was real good ! Your reminiscing of the Lassie TV show ! Man I watched it every day , and was really disappointed it went off the air ! And Angela your friend and his wine and Jeff’s Gems made this one a one to file and remember ! Thanks for a very entertaining jumble !!!!!

Yes, today was a very entertaining Jumble…and easy enough that I don’t have to rethink my Jumble skills….just yet, anyway. An easy blind solve followed by fairly easy anagrams made today a real confidence booster. Great Marvin Gaye song, too. And yes, it was Timmy’s dog, for sure. Thanks for a great post. Terry
