  1. Good Morning, Everyone…✈️ BOEING MY WAY?✈️

🎶Come FLY with me…let’s FLY, let’s FLY away…🎶…”Come Fly With Me” – Mr Frank Sinatra (original recording) 1958  https://tinyurl.com/25rey98c

✈️ He’ll WEAVE a special story, maybe pen a JINGLE too,
    First class…and a cloth NAPKIN…the perks there’ll be anew…
Maybe a little bud vase? A TULIP on a tray?
This jet truly amazing and will soon be on its way
It truly cuts a fine figure, the flight crew impressed too…
This newest model’s definitely huge…and today IN “PLANE” VIEW…✈️

Once again, our puzzle seemed to have a familiar ring…and of COURSE past puzzles started FLYING through my mind. Granted, it may just be a FLIGHT of fancy, but I decided to search…And while not a RUN (a)WAY, I did LAND on something that’s SOARly in the ballpark…AISLE share it with you…The puzzle of October 29th, 2016. https://tinyurl.com/k4u6ubuw …We can PLANEly see the similarity…

    Anyway…Let me CARRY ON…

So…Today…1968…and the coming of the Boeing 747… https://tinyurl.com/bddm9v2h  An AirPLANE…And with “DISPLAYED” and “LOOK at it” in our dialogue = VIEW, coupled with the quotation marks calling for a pun of a PLANE old 5-letter word, not to mention the PLANE in “PLAIN” “SIGHT”?…This is WHEELy an easy, breezy one…It FLEW right off the page…and I’m sure you all WINGed it…Our solve? It was…IN “PLANE” VIEW https://tinyurl.com/3bexpydy

JET’S …I mean Jeff’s💎Gems? There are two men standing below the plane, and if you look real closely at the reporter’s pad, you’ll see that It reads “747”…And the stewardesses? Wearing those SKY CAPS that were de rigueur back then…

…And amusingly, in Saturday’s cartoon we saw a jet, in yesterday’s a scribe. Today…both. Started the weekend, ended the weekend and starting a new week with a bit of the same TAKE OFF…I thought it to be something to WRITE home about…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind…and stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who’s trying to sue an airline because his LUGGAGE went missing…and BOEING forward he’s determined not to LOSE HIS CASE…✈️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🌷 The NAPKIN, lying there IN PLAIN VIEW, was made with a beautiful WEAVE and folded into a TULIP design…which brought to mind a JINGLE she’d once heard…🌷

🤦🏻‍♀️Her bracelet made a JINGLE, as it caught the NAPKIN’s thread,
The vase that held the TULIP then fell over on the bread…
Her hand did WEAVE such damage…people looked at her askew…
She sat in such embarrassment…all the while IN PLAIN VIEW…🤦🏻‍♀️

  3. …AND IN OTHER WORDS…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

TULIP: Last used – 4/08/2022 as LUPIT

WEAVE: Last used – 12/04/2023 as VAEWE

JINGLE: Last used – 4/10/2022 as NJLIEG

NAPKIN: Last used – 5/05/2022 as PINANK

IN “PLANE” VIEW – Last used – New solution

    …ANAGRAM HISTORY…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

LUPTI: Used on – New anagram

  4. ✈️ The years, they have definitely flown by,
Since this airplane took off to the skies…
    Not produced any more,
    But back then…was for sure…
Something to lift one’s spirits quite high…✈️

🤦🏻‍♀️Airline travel so different back then,
    Before all the restrictions began…
    Today…there’s disdain,
    And it causes a strain…
With the where and the what and the when…🤦🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♂️Smaller seats and forget about meals,
It’s just no longer part of the deal…
And back then you could smoke,
    Really…it’s not a joke…
Flying then had a whole different feel…🤷🏻‍♂️

✍🏻 But today this here plane in our sight,
Newest model that would take on flight…
    With no rule 3-1-1,
    Flying’s relaxed and fun…
As the reporter surely will write…✍🏻

👍🏻…‘Bout the new plane to soon take on wing,
With excitement that it’s sure to bring…
    For Boeing…thumbs up yes,
    Flying’s sign of progress..
    Yes…back then? ‘Twas a whole ‘nother thing…👍🏻

    • Had more trouble with this Jumble than with today’s, confusing the lately anagram with a misspelled tally. Chuck.

  5. It went without saying, that the middle word would be PLANE, so I initially thought of IN PLANE SITE….looked through the anagrams and saw WEAVE staring me in the eyes so changed my blind solve to ….VIEW for the correct answer. I was flying in the Air Force back then in Alamogordo when the 747 was flight testing, using our air space…so we got a few close glimpses.

It’s Angela’s triple winner with Sinatra, Van Heusen and Cahn providing the Monday morning music….and such music to our ears !!! And an interesting post, for sure. Terry

    • Tk you, Terry…And I bet the Early Birds that you’d mention the illustrious duo! I knew I could count on you to come through! 👏🏻👏🏻! Music 🎶 to our ears, indeed…I played the clip over and over. I was fortunate enough to see Sinatra in concert many times…14 to be exact…and I never get tired of looking at these old YouTube videos. He was an amazing talent…and never failed to acknowledge the men behind the music…Enjoy you day, Terry, and thank you again…✈️🎶🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Good morning. Completed without any difficulty, even had a blind solve until I checked the letters I had and found out I had a T instead of a P. I went back to the first word and then found the second word Tulip. That double word slowed things up a bit. Loved your song choice Angela and your post. Until tomorrow take care.

  7. Hello , start of a great jumble week Monday ! I love Mondays ! All of the anagrams were there and said WEAVE me a NAPKIN Jim , and here’s a TULIP for a little JINGLE ! And the jumble , not mentioning the word PLANE , but describes one , was IN PLANE VIEW ! Loved it ! I am totally on the same boat with you, Angela and Terry about Mr Sinatra and his music ! What a great , as usual way to start a new week of jumbles Monday !!!!!!!

  8. From the tally a quick and easy solve for us all on this steamy hot Monday! Stay cool, Chuck.
