    ⚾️ In baseball with a triple play you’ll definitely hear cheers,
    Especially since you don’t see one that often through the years…
    Like a TULIP blooms in Springtime, akin to a romance,
    You hope as you grow OLDER you’ll happen to get a chance…
    To see a game in person where a triple play rings true,
    There is no FOURTH it’s just the three…and yes, it’s hard to do…
    Some diehard fans may be AFRAID they’ll never get the thrill,
    To look out on a baseball field and see this play of skill…
    In baseball it’s a rarity, the three outs..take the naught…
    No runs are scored in this great play…It’s an ALL-OUT EFFORT! 🏐

    So…With just one old anagram in PLAY today, LUPIT, from 2017, we FIELDed all four words easily. And for those who may not know, each team gets three OUTS in an inning of baseball. And if you pull off a Triple Play, getting these three outs all at one time, you’re HOME free…no pun intended! So our solve?     Our cartoon? Jumble players, as noted by the name on the back and the Signature J on the sleeve of the jersey belonging to our player #54….’54…The year that Jumble first came out to PLAY…

  3. 🌷In an ALL-OUT EFFORT to have the best TULIP garden this year, she was AFRAID that the extra FOURTH row she planted, next to the OLDER daises, might not grow as well as the others…🌷

    👗 She tried on many dresses…liked the one with TULIP hem…
    AFRAID it might be just too short…but it was def a gem…
    She saw some OLDER women started giving her the eye,
    But this was the FOURTH shopping day, and she’d searched high and dry…
    It did fit well, and it looked good…so who’s to say what’s short…
    She’’s buying it and going home…end of ALL-OUT EFFORT! 👗

  4. Good morning Friday , start of the weekend ! Wow , as I said in my last comment , I was so pleased with the entertaining jumbles , but today , just like the ‘triple play’ , I was out three times ! The anagrams were a home – run ! Not one was considered OLDER , but I was AFRAID that it wasn’t going to be the same FOURTH one in a row , so I’m still gonna extend a TULIP as a token of how fun these jumbles are ! As much as I wanted to give an ALL OUT EFFORT to see a connection , I saw that the cartoon was full of outs , so I pulled OUT from the letters and that kept me from scoring the game so I sang 🎵 put me in coach , I’m ready to play today 🎵 (John Doherty) everyone have a great start of the weekend Friday !!!

    • I didn’t have a problem with the J today but the solution took longer. I just figured out the 3 letter words and moved on to the longer one.
      Always fun when David & Jeff work!!

    • Good Morning, Jim. The song you mention, “Centerfield”, by John Fogerty is the one I’ve used for the past five years in our Baseball puzzles. Its a mainstay…But since we’re just opening the season, I decided to change it up a bit and went with the original baseball tune…Wishing you a good one, too! ⚾️🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. No blind solve this morning, even though I was pretty sure OUT was part of the ballgame. After anagrams completed, took out OUT….and was stymied for a minute or two. Even thought I might have to forfeit the game. But alas, finally saw the ALL when it came together. Will have to listen to that Centerfield song one of these days. Have a great TGIF

  7. Good morning. No problem with either the words or cartoon answer. Maybe it was the extra sleep I got last night that I was able to get it pretty quick. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  8. Ditto for me,no problem w the anagrams or the cartoon.Speaking of baseball,the Cubs and Cards won their home openers,so will be able to continue to serve beer,as they did not lose their openers!

    Love it and the jumble ! The words were pretty easy, little trouble with
    “AFRAID” for some reason, but enjoyed the challenge.

  10. No problem with the anagrams but had to really put on my thinking cap 🧢 for the cartoon solution. Finally got it!. Giants play the Marlins today for the opener. My neighbors have a HUGE Giants flag in their window so baseball fever is definitely in the air. Hope all your favorite teams win! Play Ball!!
