🪙 Today the game is flying planes…but who will take the helm,
They’re outside in their backyard…in the shade of the old elm…
One is to be the PILOT, the other sits as co,
They flip a coin to choose their spot… but Heather just don’t know…
Right now they’re on the APRON, or so they do pretend,
Their pet PIGLET will come aboard…their puppy…it depends…
But Heather’s still up in the air…(I AFFIRM that’s no pun,
It’s just that indecision’s in the way of having fun)
It’s heads, no tails…she’s wavering…so far there’s been no stopping…
Her brother says…”Make up your mind,…enough of this FLIP-FLOPPING”!🪙
The last time we had FLIP-FLOPPING as a puzzle solve back on January 09th, 2013, it had to do with a woman unable to make up her mind about which sandals to buy…you know Flip-🩴Flops https://tinyurl.com/298fdrm6 …and today, here again, we have ourselves another indecisive female…Hmm…It is only women? Aren’t men just as guilty? I tell you, I’ve HALF A MIND to….uh…maybe not the best choice of words considering, huh? I think it’s best I just TOSS that one out…Anyway…that puzzle of 01/09/13? The word AFFIRM was one of the anagrams that day too…and what’s amusing is that both puzzles deal with anything but! Just a little HEADS up that I like to TOSS out there every once in a while…a little Jumble Trivia TAIL…
So…Today we find Whether, I mean Heather…ORNOT and her brother, SURE, short for Sherwood. The Ornot siblings are outside playing, and while trying to decide who should win the spot of Pilot in their game of Airplane, they DECIDED to FLIP a coin… And as Sure’s FLIPping a quarter, and we see it SPIRALING, so too do we see Heather doing the same…”Heads, tails, head, tails”…Phew! Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who was dating two women for the longest time and hoping to get married…but just couldn’t decide whether to choose Kathryn or Edith. Unable to make a commitment, he led them on for so long that they both got disgusted and left him…But as bad as I felt for him, I did keep trying to tell him…You can’t have your Kate and Edith too…🪙🙋🏻♀️

A nice easy Taco Tuesday puzzle today…..just had to be some FLIPS and FLOPS in there somewhere. And casually examining the anagrams, an ING, too. Anyway, A Tuesday blind solve to get me started today, plus an enjoyable read from Ms. Angela. Kate and Edith was fun, too. Now, to go back and listen to the Beach Boys…can’t say I’m familiar with that song. Terry

Good morning. I was stuck on the second word (easy when you see it) so I went to the cartoon and after a few minutes the answer came to me and after checking with what letters I had I realized I needed an OPN to complete my blind solve and get Apron. Enjoyed The Beach Boys Angela but like Terry it was a first time hearing it. Guess you would say it was the B side. A fill in to one of their hit songs. Until tomorrow take care.

It’s time for tacos ! I Had a late night last night and enjoyed Dyngus day in Cleveland , so now I’m enjoying today’s jumble ! All the anagrams were there and the first word that came to me after coins tossing was the flip ! So FLIP-FLOPPING was good ! And like Terry and Paul about The Beach Boys , any song they do is usually a musical gem ! And Angela , your post is always so fun to read ! You definitely put a whole-mind to them ! And your friends remind me of my two friends Juan and a great writing Author ! Just take Juan or the Author ! Sorry ! Had to do it , I enjoyed yours !
