    • Good Morning, Everyone…👍🏻 BOOSTING ONE’S SPIRITS! 👍🏻

      🎶More, more, more…JUMP…🎶… “Jump(For My Love)” – The Pointer Sisters 1983 http://tinyurl.com/242hw5cx

👍🏻 First thought..it needed FLUID, but that was just a fail,
      They’re sitting in a JERSEY lot…with nothing to regale…
The OBJECT is to start the car…but their TEMPO is off,
A situation such as this…one easily can scoff…
But this Dad is determined to do right by his boy…
A boost it is…and there you go…and they both JUMPED FOR JOY!👍🏻

Hmm…Two days in a row and we’re JUMPING…Maybe ‘cause we hit upon that extra LEAP Year day this week?…IDK…But anyway…this puzzle today is so easy, breezy, we may as well just JUMP right over to the solve…

So…Today, a dead battery… http://tinyurl.com/a2hrbhj7 …and a car that won’t start. And a Dad using JUMPer cables http://tinyurl.com/2ma4emww as our question tells us, to give his son’s car battery a BOOST…= he JUMPED the car battery… http://tinyurl.com/yc6mn6ar ..as we can see illustrated in our cartoon…and voila!…our dialogue’s telling us…”It worked”!…So, HAPPY = JOY…with their success…they JUMPED FOR JOY! http://tinyurl.com/3wewa5h4 …And we can CELLebrate and REVel in the fact that we’ve STARTED the week off CHARGED and ready to roll..

…And if you look real closely, you’ll see Jeff’s little Gem…The Signature Jumble “J” encircled in a square on the grille of the car…CELLdom do we go without seeing it…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of a friend of mine who made a good living CELLing car batteries, but became bored, and decided to try his hand at stand-up comedy. We were all POSITIVE that his act was a HIT, but he had NEGATIVE feelings about it…Said the ENERGY it took was just too DRAINING…and it just didn’t give him the SPARK he thought it would…So he’s CURRENTly back CELLing batteries…where the company’s now put him in CHARGE…Which of course did much to BOOST his ego…Needless to say,
      he’s re-ENERGIZED now…I swear, never a DULL moment with this guy…👍🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

    • 👍🏻 With the OBJECT being to improve the TEMPO of their JERSEY production line, thereby allowing things to run in a much more FLUID fashion, they JUMPED FOR JOY when they finally hit upon the right solution…👍🏻

🙇🏻‍♀️The waiter made the FLUID spill…her JERSEY took a hit,
The TEMPO of her morning ruined…she’s now in quite a snit…
To OBJECT now ‘bout the service…and who they did employ…
Would do no good at this point…hence she hardly JUMPED FOR JOY …🙇🏻‍♀️

    • 🤦🏻‍♂️ When your battery goes on the blink,
And you’re thinking it’s now swim or sink…
      Hopefully all it takes,
      Are some cables to make…
Your car running back in the pink…🤦🏻‍♂️

👍🏻Seems our young lad just found himself stuck,
In a parking lot is where dread struck…
But his Dad took a ride,
To be at his son’s side…
And the boy found that he was in luck… 👍🏻

👍🏻 Here’s to hoping the cables Dad brought,.
Do the trick…and work out as Dad thought…
      And once he did connect,
      And there was no reject…
Both of them had the relief they sought…👍🏻

👏🏻👏🏻 So it’s two happy men that we see,
      Having recharged that dead battery…
Good thing Dad was close by,
      So that he could supply…
The help needed…and all for free!👏🏻👏🏻

👬🏻So our men now are jumping for joy,
As the battery’s not yet destroyed…
      And the only sparks seen,
Are from our young lad’s gleam…
Thanks to Dad taking care of his boy! 👬🏻

  2. Very pleased to start another week with a great Monday solve ! The anagrams were all there for me ! The jumble , with starting a car , using jumper cables , came right to me and how happy it is to get your car started again makes you had JUMPED FOR JOY ! Great start of the week Monday ! And first time I’ve ever listened to the Pointer Sisters song , which was appropriate ! Have a great start of the week Monday !!!!!!

  3. Just a marvelous way to wake up on a Monday….a blind solve, easy anagrams and great song. And Angela, you have written so many fine poetic rhymes this morning to make this a fun way to start the week. Even though my battery isn’t dead, I, too, would like to JUMP FOR JOY. Thanks for a great post. Terry

    • LOL! Well I’m glad to hear that your battery’s still alive and kicking! You’ve made my day! And BOOSTed my ego! 😉 Tk you, kind Sir…I raise my Caffé Mocha ☕️to you! Enjoy your day! 🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. So they JUMPED FOR JOY. What kind of car was jumped? if it weren’t for the spacing, we would have JOEY JUMP FORD. So the car was a Ford, and the guy on the left was named Joey. It was not a JALOPY, since there was no A or L.

  5. Good morning. Another Monday start hopefully to a great week. Sort of a blind solve, after easily getting the words I started to put down the letters and realized I hadn’t read the cartoon. After reading it and seeing the two Js the answer jumped out at me. Enjoyed your perfect choice for the song video Angela and how you jumped right into the puzzle to break it down for us. Until tomorrow take care.

  6. Yes, we know that sinking feeling

It’s one that leaves you reeling

    It comes without warning

What a start to the morning

Yes, it’s with a dead battery you’re dealing!

The very worst dead battery event I’ve ever experienced was on our way to our son’s wedding in an Ontario ice storm in December. We stopped at a coffee shop as we actually had some extra time, however on trying to start the car again, the battery was dead! In alternating rain, ice pellets, sleet and freezing rain we waited for the motor league, trying to stay warm and keep our wedding finery away from the elements! Glad to say it was a great wedding!

  7. An easy solve of the anagrams as well as the cartoon after getting jumped for the first word. A good start of the work week. Chuck.
