  2. The man was hired as A LIP READER, but when he came up with a story about who would HOARD a MATURE LAPTOP, the group decided he was hardly worth the PRICE they had paid him…

The reason he would HOARD this way, they really didn’t know,

MATURE was not descriptive…seven LAPTOPs had to go…

He paid the PRICE when moving…forced to be a dumpster feeder…

The whispering about him? …Good thing he’s not A LIP READER!

    • Good Morning, Everyone… 💋 READ IT…AND KEEP 💋

🎶 Though we gotta say goodbye for the summer, DARLING I promise you this…I’ll send you all my love every day in a letter SEALED WITH A KISS…🎶 “Sealed With a Kiss” – Bran Hyland 1962 http://tinyurl.com/52bwn7b9

💋If he could HOARD the moment, he’d def pay any PRICE,
MATURE enough to realize that he’d need no one’s advice…
(No place here to use LAPTOP…of the word I’m no cheerleader)…
But surely we root for this guy…for being A LIP READER!💋

I’m getting somewhat of a Hawaiian vibe from our cartoon today. It could be the flower in the hair…and if so, the woman, wearing it at her right ear, is available according to Hawaiian culture http://tinyurl.com/4pcumcyz …Two things though…1- For some reason we always tend to think they’re gardenias…but they’re plumerias….http://tinyurl.com/ywk3yhjf ..And 2 – I think that “availability” ship has sailed…From the looks of this…it’s been SAILed with a kiss…

So…Two young lovers sharing their first kiss on a beach at sunset. And between our question…”man who KNEW”, our dialogue…”what did you THINK”…and our guy depicted pointing to the LIPS of his true love, I need not pay mere LIP service http://tinyurl.com/34esyzzt to our puzzle here today…It’s easy to see that he’s… A LIP READER http://tinyurl.com/5n6v7wnk for sure…And this couldn’t be any plainer if it SMACKed us upside the head! http://tinyurl.com/ydrhmjmc

…And WATER you know…As a couple walks hand-in-hand along the shore with their little dog, that Jumble Sinking Sailboat KISSES its voyage goodbye…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I found our solve today amusing in light of all the brouhaha going on about the Swifties calling for Lip Reading in an effort to determine what Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were whispering about at the recent Golden Globe Awards. http://tinyurl.com/4hzah42n Ridiculous…It’s getting to the point where one can’t even GOSSIP anymore without everyone getting in your business…It’s DISCUSSING, really… 💋 🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. didn’t see the connection right away about A LIP READER, was looking more for love or romance theme and marriage , but yes it does fit , but I read someone’s lips , it’s usually about something bad they were saying , I know. It just didn’t jump out ! The anagrams were all there , Angela , I know it was there , but it just didn’t seem there , your song was a good though ! Always liked that one ! So I’ll prepare for tomorrow and really study ! Have a good day !

  4. No blind solve Saturday for me….All I could come up with was the first letter “A”. Anyway, went straight to the anagrams and solved them speedily except for LAPTOP, which seemed to take forever. Was about to look it up when it finally appeared. After that, all was easy. Great song choice and clever commentary made for an enjoyable Saturday morning. Terry

    • Tk you, Terry. As for Laptop…another compound word, which always seems to be tricky. And two days in a row, which may be a first…💋🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. I paused on laptop thinking it was a misspelled topple at first, then had lip for the first cartoon word and finally , lip reader for the complete solution. Stay as warm as you can on this frigid weekend! Chuck.

  6. Good morning. Seems like a few of us had trouble with Laptop thinking we had it wrong. The other words were a breeze but I came up empty on the cartoon answer. Enjoyed the song choice Angela. Until tomorrow take care

  7. A LIP READER was too MATURE to HOARD a low PRICE LAPTOP.

Easy one today, like the past few days. Saw LIP, so READER was left.

    Dennis

  8. Another vote here for “laptop” – had to resort to paper and pencil to figure that one out though in retrospect it shouldn’t have been so difficult. Saw lip right away so the cartoon solve was easy. Hope you all stay warm and dry today – it’s winter weather all over the country. Betty
