    They’re dry and tough and hardly taste like they had hoped they would…
    (And here BERET can’t get a”head”…there’s no place it can fit…
    It’s useless to our theme…won’t work…and that I say to wit)
    They wasted money and that’s “nuts”…with costly groceries…
    Expensive Walnuts…not all that they were CRACKED UP TO BE!👑

  3. 🤦🏻‍♀️Sitting on the COUCH, she lost her PLACID mood and realized this baby sitting thing wasn’t all it was CRACKED UP TO BE when she saw a BERET, a bib, and a ton of crackers and corn KERNELs strewn across the floor…🤦🏻‍♀️

    🛋️ Went shopping for a new COUCH, brought her BERET along,
    Trying to match the color…hoping it won’t take too long…
    The color like a corn KERNEL…it’s PLACID and so chic,
    Might not be easy to find though…it is sort of unique
    She’s been so many places, but so far didn’t see…
    A thing that’s close…maybe her shade’s just not CRACKED UP TO BE! 🛋️

  4. Duh…..how’s the saying go about the blind squirrel?? Today’s puzzle has to be one of the easiest in recent times, almost a dead giveaway. Finished up anagrams and am off to the breakfast table.   5. It’s the first taco-Tuesday for this year , And it has started the year out right ! The anagrams were all there ! No problem with any of them ! Now the jumble I knew the saying and there could’ve been other word possibilities , but once CRACKED came to me , UP TO BE was in a nut shell ! And the nutcracker music was taco-riffick ! Let’s keep it going ! Everyone have a great day and bring on a no hump Wednesday !

  7. Good morning. Listening to the music I was waiting for laurel and hardy to jump on the screen. The new year is continuing on a good note. No problem with the words or cartoon answer. I cracked the solution in good time. Until tomorrow take care.

  8. Yes, they were not what they seemed to be
    Box opened, it was for all to see
    All musty and old
    And covered with mold
    Well, there was no way to foresee……

    Well past their sell by date
    Bought just a little too late?
    Or was the quality poor
    The buyer unsure
    The nut purchase is up for debate!

    Resolutions they made re:dessert…
    With nutrition the thing,
    They opted for the King…
    Never thinking there’d be disconcert…👑

    🌰So they each cracked a nut and did taste,
    What turned out to be nothing but waste…
    The nuts tasted so bad,
    They sure felt they’d been had…
    And a poor situation they faced…🌰

    🤷🏻‍♀️Weren’t cheap these walnuts that they bought,
    Was it just a bad box that they caught?
    Should they bring the nuts back?
    Since it’s flavor at lack?
    Or just chalk it up to what’s a naught? 🤷🏻‍♀️

    🌰The nuts granted…they didn’t taste good,
    Not at all like a good walnut should…
    But no such thing as mold…
    Was there to behold…
    There’s no eating of mold..understood…🌰

    🤷🏻‍♀️Disappointed they now have a choice,
    Just stay quiet or exercise voice…
    With the money they’ve spent,
    Versus the box content?
    I’d say surely a complaint they hoist! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  10. Another easy one. KERNEL took a little effort, but after you crack a nut, what do you get? This was the fourth blind solve in a row. Normally I get one or zero a week.
