    A dread of deserts and the STENCH of heat that’d make you choke…

    Ok..I’m not looking to take the puzzle for GRANITE or anything, but I’m so STONE-cold up to my ears in Holiday prep, that I’m starting to CAVE in…So, I SHALE make this short and sweet…

    …So there you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminded me of my good friend, Rocco. He’s definitely BASALT of the earth, but he can be so SHALE-low at times. But I don’t FAULT him…he’s really a SEDIMENTAL guy at heart…and we’ve been ROCK SOLID for years…🪨 🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️Because of what was perceived as a STENCH that permeated City Hall, it was hardly ROCKET SCIENCE and way too easy to EVOKE thoughts that one’s THIRST to do what was right as far as CIVIC duty was concerned was seriously compromised…🤷🏻‍♂️

    🤦🏻‍♂️ The STENCH within the CIVIC hall after the pipe had burst,
    Burnt both his eyes and throat…and made him seek to quench his THIRST…
    It did EVOKE a memory of one time getting sick,
    And now he wondered what it’d take to cleanse the air so thick…
    In need of some respite and soon…where to go for reliance…
    The search for a solution…hardly calls for ROCKET SCIENCE!🤦🏻‍♂️

  5. I am resting back with a smile on my face and my thirst totally quenched by thursdays jumble ! The anagrams were CIVIC class ! Not one I had to EVOKE and not one had a STENCH ! And tha last one quenched my THIRST ! This jumble was rock solid ! I looked up what a petrologist was and he studied the origin of rocks ! Well ROCK came right out and when I saw the S and T and C , SCIENCE a was there and you didn’t have to be a ROCKET IT SCIENCE tist to get it ! And to top it off as usual Angela , what a good song and your humorous friends ! Ok I won’t talks them for GRANITE ! Great thirsty-Thursday jumble !!!!!!!

  7. Good morning. Another easy day with words but being pressured for time I didn’t get the connection at first with the cartoon and the caption. It took me a little longer to come up with the answer then it should have. So I’ll just rocket out of here. Until tomorrow take care.

  8. Happy Pearl Harbor Memorial Day. No problem with the anagrams but the cartoon got me as I thought the first 2 words were rock in rather than rock it,which took the ‘n’ from the science final word. Chuck.
