  1. Good Morning, Everyone…⬅️ CAR – TOON? ➡️

🎶 Memories follow me LEFT AND RIGHT…I can feel you over HERE, I can feel you over HERE…🎶 “Left And Right” – Charlie Puth (ft Jungkook of BTS) 2022 https://tinyurl.com/2p86na92

⬅️ A SUSHI restaurant opened, on the other side of town,
It’s kind of far from their own HOUSE…but due to its renown…
They took a shot and traveled there…but now it’s just their fate,
They’re lost…and we see Perdido look both ways and GYRATE…
    There is no rear-view MIRROR…In fact the car’s front?…Where?
I’m looking at the cartoon…and…? Shouldn’t it be shown RIGHT HERE? ➡️

I got a good laugh over our cartoon today, since I’m one of those people who has trouble distinguishing left from right. I’m ambidextrous because of it…Long story…but anyWAY…

So…Today we FIND ourselves…lost. And poor PERDIDO 😉 is seen asking his wife, WANDA, which WAY to turn..And what ensues is a comedy of errors. It reminded me of the old Abbott & Costello routine…”Who’s On First” https://tinyurl.com/3ckmbtn9 …Well it really reminded me of the numerous times, while riding shotgun, that I’ve told someone “Turn here…left”. When it was a right turn that was needed….Suffice to say I’m not allowed to give directions any more…and not by accident…No pun intended …But I digress…The old Baseball routine? …It’s enough to STOP anyone in their tracks…A comedy classic…But WANDA, simply answering the question of where to turn LEFT by saying “RIGHT HERE” …? Meaning …Right at this spot? …Makes perfect sense to her…but it definitely has Perdido going in CIRCLES…

…And now…our cartoon. I’m LEFT a little bewildered…Actually, TBH, it DROVE me a little crazy…The entire front of the car is missing, the door of the building at front seems to have no knob, the doorway of the building in the background looks very odd…and the street sign at the intersection has three plaques instead of two…Ok, maybe I could understand that….My neighborhood has many street signs sporting three names, but that’s mostly because we lost so many lives here on 9-11, and names were all added on in memoriam. But then again, none of them are located at busy intersections…so…? And as FAR as the GPS device WANDA’s holding? I PASS on that…you know, directions and all…but I can see the little arrow pointing LEFT…And something else that doesn’t seem quite RIGHT? The license plate on the car parked at the corner? As a rule, it’d read “J” for Jumble…and I could be mistaken, but it looks like “CH” to me…IDK…Maybe I’m just SLOW on the uptake with these today…or maybe Jeff just ran out of GAS…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle put me in mind of a friend of mine who exasperated us all by repeatedly flitting around from job to job…but then settled on one as a Traffic Agent…And we all thought…”Ah, finally…that’s the TICKET”…➡️⬅️🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🍱 Sitting at the SUSHI bar at the new Japanese HOUSE Of Hiroshima, through the MIRROR he watched the teen behind him seemingly GYRATE on a stool, while waving his arms and loudly shouting…”RIGHT HERE…that’s my order”…🍱

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 The restaurant held Family Day and SUSHI was half price,
The air was filled with the sweet scent of very spicy rice…
Some music played and little kids would GYRATE round with glee,
There was a MIRROR here and there…her kids danced happily
So happy that they came today, the HOUSE was filled with cheer…
Her husband said, “A great idea to dine today RIGHT HERE”…👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

  4. Cap of the week on Saturday ! Jim here , and today was a good one ! The only needle was the anagram GYRATE ! Everything else was laid out nice ! The jumble was definitely RIGHT HERE ! And it was nice that he didn’t leave his partner Left out , cause she was RIGHT on !! Your information about directions being told , reminded me of me looking on my phone and narrating the directions in the passengers seat saying left , next exit , and then RIGHT HERE ! Everyone have a great weekend !!!!

  5. 🤷🏻‍♂️Confusion about where to turn,
Can cause one to do a slow burn…
    You sit there and wait,
    And hope that your mate…
The reading of GPS learned! 🤷🏻‍♂️

⬅️ The question of go left or right,
    Shouldn’t be akin to a blight…
    But doing it wrong,
    Could be one’s swan song…
And it sometimes could cause quite the fight!➡️

    🤦🏻‍♂️Perdido’s just trying to find,
His way home so he can unwind…
    But he’s all befuddled,
    Thinks his wife has muddled…
    The right way…and he’s flying blind! 🤦🏻‍♂️

🗣️Semantics is what’s here at play,
It comes down to how one does say…
    A simple word phrase,
    That won’t cause a haze…
    It’s common sense…Left, right? Which way? 🗣️

🤞🏻Let’s hope Wanda can make it clear,
What she means by saying, “Right here”…
    So they get it right,
    And get home tonight…
It comes down to which way to veer! 🤞🏻

  6. An easy Saturday blind solve….with the only problem being GYRATE, and that was tough, even trying to back in the letters (which I knew). When I read the morning paper (online), will re-examine the cartoon for all the images Angela pointed out. Enjoy your weekend start !! Terry

  7. Good morning. Gyrate did me in. Other than that it was smooth sailing. No blind solve but easily accomplished once the letters were down. Until tomorrow take care.

  8. Well, she said to turn left right here
She’s always right so I really don’t fear
As she’s never left me in doubt
I know she’s right about the route (say “rout”, not “root”)
Oh, wait….am I in the right gear?

  9. Wow I could be on a roll with another blind solve of the cartoon with only a pause on the gyrate anagram!
    Chuck!

  10. When I solved the third word, I wanted to GYRATE around the room. I had a blind solve for the answer, probably because I’ve been in that situation many times.
    Dennis
