    🐝 I’ll just be BLUNT, this puzzle’s great, but I’m not into Bees…
    The THEME is cute, the wit spot on…but I’ll pass…if you please…
    We went through ants, then roaches, and the termites too showed up,
    Is it just me…don’t other PEOPLE feel we’ve had enough?
    And who could think of FONDUE when I’m ready to be foldin’…
    My stomach’s churned…there’s no way I can say I FELT “BEE-HOLDEN”🐝

    Beholden…not exactly a word one hears every day. But once again, the cartoon, the question reading “INSECTS that made HONEY”, and especially the dialogue took the STING right out of this one…Our girl’s HOLDIN’ some Bees…She’s saying…”We’re in your DEBT”…Boom…BEHOLDEN…And you know that 3-letter word had to be BEE, right?…So even if the ‘Holden” didn’t put a BUZZ into your head right off the bat, I think the quotes should have BEEn enough to clinch it…

    Ok…So…Truth BEE told, I had to twist my own SWARM to get through this one, Folks. Not the solve, that was a gimme. But again, gimme a break with all these bugs…As I mentioned earlier, I’m nowhere close to BEEing BEEsotten with Bees. And trust me, I’m not just POLLEN your leg…And BEEfore anyone BUZZES in with…what about Honey? Yes, I love honey, but I’m more than happy to lanSQUISH in denial in so far as where it comes from. There…HIVE said it. Does that make me a bad person? MAPLE some of you may think so, but it’s ok. I’m good…I just can’t do bugs…of any kind. But, of course, being the SCOOPER that I am, the show must go on, so I FLEW something toGATHER…And let’s get down to BEEsiness…

    Today we find ourselves at a Bee colony…And we see our Beekeeper, BEElinda, clad in her protective gear, putting in the hours doing some harvesting…BEEcause let’s face it, Folks…time is HONEY…We also see a seven anthropomorphic Bees…two of whom might be TUMBLE Bees, since they look like they’ve fallen CLOVER. The other other HIVE, I mean five, all smiling at BEElinda, look like they a-DRAWER…Love at first FLIGHT, I supHOSE…Anyway, I don’t know what more I could go BUMBLING on about here today…Our solve?     Oh…And you know how I usually COMB through articles looking for information that I can POLLEN out from the interNET for you? Well…today it’s just not gonna FLY…I made one Google search for Beekeeping… https://tinyurl.com/yckcpdzp and called it aSTRAY…I just don’t HIVE it in me…

    So…There you have it Folks…Done. HIVE a good one. BEE well, BEE kind, stay safe…And I’ll leave you with this…A Bumblebee, a Spelling Bee and a Vitamin B got in a fight. The vitamin B1….🐝🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 👍🏻 To be BLUNT, he FELT BEHOLDEN to the PEOPLE that went along with his idea of a FONDUE party as a THEME…👍🏻

    🫕 There was an old FONDUE pot left when PEOPLE sold their home,
    The buyers came across it…that and a platter with gnomes…
    They had to be BLUNT and admit, they cared for neither one,
    The THEME of their decor? No way they ever could be spun…
    They held a big garage sale, and three women actually fought,
    Over that old Fondue pot…Who’d have thought it would be bought?
    Turned out a pretty penny earned…that pot was truly golden…
    And to the former owners they now definitely FELT BEHOLDEN! 🫕

    🐝 We see our girl attending her bees,
    And they all seem quite eager to please…
    They’ve got free room and board,
    As Beelinda does hoard…
    And it’s all going off quite with ease…🐝

    🤦🏻‍♀️ Sometimes beekeeping can get you stung,
    And I’m not just intending to pun,
    You can fail at this game,
    Not all take it to fame…
    Many hives have been started than hung…🤦🏻‍♀️

    🐝 Takes a heart that’s not in the least faint,
    Not a rosy pic always to paint…
    It takes blood, sweat and tears…
    And of course lack of fears!
    With beekeeping you’re in or you ain’t…🐝

    👍🏻 So Beelinda has success we see,
    Making money with bee after bee…
    Props to her are in order,
    I suppose…yeah, we oughta…
    Bottom line though? Better her than me! 👍🏻

  5. End of the weekday Friday ! Man , I wish yesterday’s jumble didn’t throw me off of my undefeated trail cause today it continued to go undefeated ! The anagrams were all there for me ! The jumble was fun and rewarding when I first pulled out the word FELT and then they said insect and honey and the only one that buzzed me was a BEE ! So she FELT BEE – HOLDEN ! It all came together ! This one was a fun Friday jumble ! So everyone have a great Friday and bring on Saturday !

  6. A fun Friday Jumble, to be sure. As Angela pointed out…the three letters in quotes had to be BEE…and most probably FELT “BEE”. After buzzing around a few words here and there, just didn’t come up with the rest of it until anagrams solved. And Angela was soooo right about the beekeeper “holding” that tray/house for the bees…another dead giveaway that I missed.

    Am familiar with the Cheek To Cheek album and that was a nice story about how that came to pass. Can’t beat those old Rodgers and Hart songs…can you believe composed 90 or so years ago !!! Enjoy your TGIF

      • Ha Ha…LOL and yes…missed that HOLDEN, too. Music people categorize Rodgers and Hammerstein as more sophisticated and polished than the Hart days…as you commented about BB&B, maybe not always so true. Talk soon

        • Terry…I know you agree that Richard Rodgers was music itself. He could have collaborated with me and made magic! 😂 He simply had the golden ear. But I love everything he did with Hart.   7. Good morning. On a nice roll still, because today was a continuation of the whole week. Rolled through the words but couldn’t get that blind solve. But after I put all the letters down and studied the cartoon I placed Bee in the quotation beginning then came up with Felt which gave me the last word. On your song choice Angela I was thinking of another female singer who eludes me but the lady does add her own flair to the song and must say it was enjoyable. You never know what she is going to look like when she performs. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Bee definitely was the key! 😉 As for Gaga, she surely can push the envelope, but she does have a great voice, and her collaboration with Mr Bennett proved second to none. I think Miss Ella Fitzgerald definitely put her stamp on the song, but I wonder if you might be thinking of Cher’s rendition of it with Rod Stewart…She more than did it justice…And their lightheartedness, while taking liberty with the lyrics, definitely made it their own, IMO. I listen to their take on it all the time…it never fails to make me smile…Let me know if this rendition is what you’re thinking of…

  10. Buzzed right through the Jumble this morning. Bee was obvious for the word in quotes, then saw holden which left felt. Stay cool all. I read that some of the cactus are collapsing in the Arizona heat. Sad situation.

  12. Been doing Jumble since the early 60’s. I even read the Paper, (sometimes) when I finish. I did the 65 Anniversary addition over the weekend. (I really have to get a life). Seriously, I really look forward every day, my wife says I’m addicted.
