    🏡 They thought it would be UNFAIR if clients didn’t post,
    Some pictures praising their new place where they now were the hosts…
    They had it up and GOING, they felt they did WRENCH free,
    From how a B&B once ran…to them just pure ennui…
    (And here we pause for the word DUNCE…foolish for me to try,
    To relate it to today’s theme…it’s just not going to fly)
    ‘Cause today we see two women who are feeling rather proud…
    Their little lodge…yes different…they’ll cater to the “INN” CROWD! 🏡

    So a little quirk…Two days in a row, we have not just the sometimes tricky UN words, but both our words have an F following the UN. Has to be a first…And speaking of…

    Hmm. Yes, this has to be a first. Today, we’re at a B&B, Bed & Breakfast, https://tinyurl.com/2nznnjxt a small INN, called “Bee & Bee”, and dubbed “Your Home Away From Home”…And we find ourselves looking at quite the eclectic mix…Modern, yes, but a little confusing. The logo, (also seen on the tee shirt), a large daisy being approached by two bees, lies on a patch of artificial grass, and is set upon the wall, under the hanging signage…which boasts the technical amenities offered within…Instead of the usual rockers associated with a B&B, we see two very ultra-modern chairs sitting on the porch. The entry? A smart doorbell, and under the “Welcome” sign on the door…a peace sign, a heart, and a smiley face…And leading up to place? A koi pond and tree rings used as stepping stones…Yes, a first…and definitely not their parents’ B&B! No…this new INN will attract a different type of CROWD…It’s hip, it’s modern…albeit confusing…but OMELETTE that slide…and it’s probably going on Instagram…’Cause it looks like this place will surely attract the “INN” CROWD! … https://tinyurl.com/4d9e7rv5
    And I think WEEKEND definitely say that we’re not in Kansas anymore!

  3. 🙅🏻‍♂️The IN CROWD, as they considered themselves, had some ground rules…words like DUNCE or moron wouldn’t be acceptable…and should anyone finding the restrictions UNFAIR, and thinking they were GOING to throw a monkey WRENCH into the works, would immediately be unwelcome…🙅🏻‍♂️

    👍🏻The assignment…write an essay of how DUNCE came about,
    And what had kept it GOING…allowed it to grow clout…
    The word itself UNFAIR to most, a stigma was attached,
    The teacher’s goal to shine light on words that need to be scratched

  4. It was a small hump-day Wednesday ! All the anagrams were there except UNFAIR ! I just couldn’t get it ! But as I saw the letters of the jumble , I did what Angela always says to do and look at the words that tell a story and find words that are similar ! Well the small lodging looked like an INN and wanted to get bigger and to do that you need a CROWD ! That word came right out ! Then the INN CROWD was there ! So it was fun and can’t wait for thirsty-Thursday tomorrow ! Everyone have a great no hump-day Wednesday !!!!!!!

    • I just could not get unfair…the rest was easy. Got final answer before “unfair”.

  5. Given today’s Jumble theme, it seemed logical that the first word would be INN…and with that, started humming Angela’s tune of the day. Am more familiar with Ramsey Lewis, but both great arrangements. Another blind solve, but had to pause awhile with UNFAIR, and was lucky to back that one in. Yes, Angela….am sure they will have your favorite muffins !!

  8. Anagrams went smoothly but paused on the cartoon with ‘inn’ not even coming to mind , but given the letters, ‘crowd’ popped into mind, quickly followed by the complete ‘inn crowd’ solution! Happy Hump Day to one and all.

    How are east coast jumblers managing the smoke/haze from forest fires? Yes, blame it all on Canada! It’s a real problem.

    • It’s quite smoky in Western New York, but I’m able to stay indoors, unlike others and wildlife. Enjoyed your limerick.
