    We had a puzzle on MANATEES back on July 8th, 2020. https://tinyurl.com/by7eavyp Surely not a common topic…But for some reason it stuck in my head…Definitely a tell-TAIL sign that I’m WAVE too invested in the fantaSEA of these Jumbles….

    So…I’m thinking that perhaps some background information will come in handy today…

    A WAKE is a disturbance of the water that results from a boat or a jet ski moving through the water at high speeds…it’s the waves that are created by traveling through the water. A vessel’s WAKE creates turbulence in the water that impacts other vessels, people, or nearby SEA LIFE…such as…

    …And what we’re seeing here today, is a MANATEE who needs sleep…= NOt being aWAKE….But with all the boats SPEEDING by, creating WAKES, he can’t get any…So his wife offers a solution to his problem…Go behind the fallen tree…away from the WAKE being caused….because it’s a NO WAKE ZONE…And we have the solution to our puzzle!

I’ll take it with two sugars.”…I just shake my head…He can be so FLIPpant…And then he wonders why the woman has a COW sometimes trying to put up with him…🚤🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. There was a couple of different ways to go in today’s Jumble. First of all, I am feeling a little embarrassed to not see the first word as NO, as I was rummaging around trying to find a well-worn phrase. Secondly, thought one word might be LAKE. Didn’t see WAKE right away. Anyway, as usual these days, unscrambled the anagrams and with a Z to contend with, put all the letters in the right place. Thanks for the animal husbandry info, Angela.

  4. Good morning. I came back to reality today. Learned a new word with AZURE and got stymied in the clever cartoon answer. The two letter word in front of the answer threw me all off. I just couldn’t think what would go first. Once I saw the answer I just shook my head and smiled. Now that I’ve had my humble pie I’ll check out the rest of todays posts. Until tomorrow take care.

  6. Never have I ever had this much trouble with not only the anagrams , but the jumble too ! The only anagram I got was KAZOO , the rest were just not there for me ! And the jumble was not there for me either ! So I’m gonna take me a nap in the NO WAKE ZONE ! One of the hardest I’ve seen in a long time ! And I’m a man of coffee , not a manatee ! I better take me a break ! But one consistent thing is the Beatles song choice ! Great one Angela ! Everyone have a Good Friday !!!!!!!

  7. Negate got me along with the others, but then the cartoon answer was a fairly quick solve.Happy Friday to one and all!

  8. I too paused at negate but was able to figure it out. Then had to ponder the first word of the cartoon answer but saw zone and wake so that left no. Have a good day all!
