  1. Good Morning Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🧗🏻‍♂️THERE’S NO BUSINESS LIKE SNOW BUSINESS 🧗🏻‍♂️

🎶 BOY, you’re gonna CARRY THAT WEIGHT…Carry that weight A LONG TIME…🎶 “Carry That Weight” – The Beatles 1969 https://tinyurl.com/mvc3snva

🧗🏻‍♂️Some Folks may find this SPICY…so daring and so bold,
But INJURY and vertigo are what my mind beholds…
Always the BIGGER person, I say right from the door,
That I’m good staying down here with both feet set on the floor…
But Sherpas they are fearless…it’s not any PRANK with them,
They live to scale these mountains…where to me it’s all mayhem
It’s second nature to these guys…so on their backs they’re slinging…
A lot of gear and heading out…all part of their UPBRINGING…🧗🏻‍♂️

Ok…So…Let’s make this clear…This is definitely not my favorite subject. Trust me, I am not EMUsed…There’s nothing this BOULDER about me, and the very thought of it all sends shivers UP and DOWN my RIME…And the only way ALPACA bag this big and dress like this, with clothes from the SHERPA IMAGE, is if I’m headed to a ski resort…where I’ve a seat aLONG with a hot-buttered rum reserved by the fire…And where I’ll stay GROUNDed until I CLIMB into bed. Again, trust me…my anxiety’s MOUNTAIN just looking at this cartoon…despite the small SCALE of it. Nope, not for me…SNOW way, SNOW how…

AnyWEIGH…enough of the TRAILS and tribulations concerning my emotional BAGGAGE…Our puzzle…I’m gonna try my best to TREK you through it…

So…A Sherpa…How do we define a Sherpa?…Someone HIGHly deRANGEd who…oh, sorry I SLIPPED…here’s the definition… https://tinyurl.com/3nwpfsrv …and here’s Wikipedia’s in- DEPTH article on the Sherpa people. https://tinyurl.com/2sm85frt SCALE, I mean scroll through it if you choose…Me? I’ll TAKE A PASS. But, the BOTTOM line, for all inTENTS and purposes here today, is that we’re sPEAKing of a TOP-notch Mountain climber. And once again, if you heed the dialogue, today’s solve is SHERPA come to you at the drop of a hat. No pun intended…What we have here is the Sherpa telling the mountaineer all about the HIGHlights of his life. How it’s an ancestral thing…how he was taught, listened, said “SHERPA, I can do it” to his Father…and is now successful as a result…it’s all DEW to his UPBRINGINGhttps://tinyurl.com/447j99uj …And so today, to hear him tell it, he’s a man who climbs UP…and guides/BRINGS others along with him…CARRYING on the tradition of the family business. Yep, HIMALAYAN it all out on the line…YAK, YAK, YAK…and YETI speaks the whole time with the most pleasant of ALTITUDES…I mean attitudes…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay off mountains, I mean stay safe…and as I’ve told each of my mountain climbing friends throughout my life, whenever they’d BRING UP the foolish question of WEATHER or KNOT I’d like to join them…”NEPAL, I’m good”…🧗🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️Even though meant as a PRANK, the way too SPICY food caused him a slight throat INJURY…but due to his respectful UPBRINGING, he decided to be the BIGGER man and laughed it off…🤷🏻‍♂️

🦃The song contained some lyrics deemed too SPICY in a way,
And even though it was a PRANK today was not the day…
To add insult to INJURY…the BIGGER problem’d be,
That all the Aunts and Uncles warned, “Respect our company”
They wanted to have peace today…a quiet, sane Thanksgiving…
So they reminded everyone “Pay heed to your UPBRINGING”…🦃

  3. A cryptic enough for a Monday morning Jumble that no blind solve emerged, but with easy anagrams to solve, the clever solution appeared right away. Yes, I know that sentence structure kind of got out of hand. Oh well. Thanks for posting, Angela, and will see you Taco Tuesday. BTW, I read about how crowded it is on those Himalayan ascents these days.

  4. Happy May Day to one and all, especially Angela. A great start of the month for me with a clean sweep of all including a blind solve of the multi lettered cartoon.

  5. Here we go again , with another Monday , start the week off solve , with the anagrams and the jumble ! Mondays are definitely BIGGER aim solves and SPICY a to start the week ! I never suffer an INJURY on a Monday jumble ! They are all so nice without a PRANK ! The jumble , having read about Sherpa , are not down , but UPBRINGING ! And how many Beatles song match the jumbles ? Many ! Love this one Angela ! Everyone have a great start of the week !!!!

  6. 🤷🏻‍♀️There are those who just live for the thrill,
Whereas others fear that this would kill…
    And it boggles the mind,
    Just how many you’ll find…
Who are doing this…and with free will! 🤷🏻‍♀️

🤦🏻‍♀️This here Sherpa is packed up to go,
With a ton of equipment in tow…
    How he does it…beats me,
    But I’m sure most agree…
That there’s no way we intend to know! 🤦🏻‍♀️

    😱 The man’s saying he’s trained since a child,
To go out there and climb in the wild…
    Second nature, I guess,
    And yes, it does impress…
Under crazy though I have it filed! 😱

👍🏻So the Sherpa he’ll face wind and cold,
    The man’s stalwart…and trained to be bold…
    Obviously inured,
    To the things he’ll endure…
As each trek one by one does enfold…👍🏻

🤦🏻‍♀️ Power to him I guess we can say,
For the Sherpa is def a mainstay…
    Generations gone by,
    And it’s guy after guy…
But I’m still saying…”Hell no, no way”! 🤦🏻‍♀️

  7. I’m a bit late today but here’s my daily offering anyway!

Sherpas – they’ve earned our highest esteem
    Working in conditions extreme
    They guide climbers with care
    And their knowledge they share
    To fulfil foreigners’ loftiest dream!

Though they must think half the climbers are daft
They continue to practice their craft
    Guiding higher and higher
    Their resilience admired
    A profession that’s much understaffed!

‘Cause being a sherpa requires much skill
Tenacity, and a very strong will
    The job’s not for all
    There’s the danger you’ll fall
And tumble to the foot of the hill!

Why, they would be a national disgrace
Oh how they’d simply lose face
    All beat up and bruised
    Muscles all spent and used
And confined to the camp at the base!

  8. Step by step we conquer. Once I solved the four clue words, and looked at the rope they strung together, and the cartoon, “upbringing” popped to the top! Great adventure today!
