The anagrams were all there and no problem , and the jumble dealing with her sisters sweater and fixing it after she tore it was definitely trying to MAKE AMENDS ! No blind solve this morning because I just wasn’t thinking outside the box !! After a first look, glommed onto the first cartoon puzzle word being MEND and of course, couldn’t find a second word to logically follow. Wish I had thought of other words that included MEND and I might have notched a blind solve on my belt. Anyway, anagrams came easy and then I saw the solve. Happy TGIF to all.
Good morning, batting 1000 lately. Maybe my power food in my cereal is not blueberries but raisins because I’m on a good streak lately. I was able to get everything fairly quick and also get a blind solve again. It’s not like me to do this well for awhile now. With all this wisdom, I just might tackle the theory of relativity. Quick trivia question regarding Miss Francis…..what musical instrument did she grow up with?? Think legend has it she had a choice of various ones, but ended up choosing accordian over piano. She rued her choice later in life as she was somewhat forced into playing at all the family functions.
Arthur Godfrey told her to drop the accordion that she played since she was 4 !
As an accordion player, I object to giving it up in favor of the piano.
Anagrams were a quick solve followed by a quick solve of the cartoon after a quick first word solve of make followed by the second word amends. Given the multitude of letters, I was surprised to get the quick solve.
