Wow ! What a way to cap the week with this Saturday jumble ! I had just a little trouble with GARBLE sand TRUDGE , but when I wrote them down I had to check the spelling and I was right ! Yeah ! So I didn’t SKIMP and played a little song on the PIANO to celebrate the great jumble of SUPER MARKETING ! MARKET came right out to me and the ING needed a home so there it was ! Great jumble ! What a way to end a beautiful jumble week ! Everyone have a great weekend !!!!!
Well, there was no blind solve, but there surely should have been…and I grew up in the grocery business, too !! Paused just a wee bit on TRUDGE, looked at letters and immediately saw GREAT, and took out those letters. What was left needed that G for ING, so re-examined all letters to find MARKETING…duh !!! with letters for SUPER left on the table. Hope your Saturdays go well.
SUPER MARKETING? There’s no reason to suppose this is a supermarket, a food store. It could be a department store like Target or even a game emporium, in which case the solution is GAMER TURNPIKES, describing road racing video games. In any case the store is interested in what’s in customers’ purses, so PURSE MARKETING. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were into SETUP REMARKING prices, and if those prices are too high, then it’s UPSET REMARKING, for it would upset the customers. And they are not the only business in town. They shouldn’t feel like they are KINGS PREMATURE.
…And yet the question clearly states GROCERY STORE…

Good morning. It took a lot of time but I was able to get both parts. Pretty rough week but fun just the same. Until tomorrow stay safe and be well.
Took me a bit of time to figure out the cartoon answer this morning. Like tcapps,I first saw great but the k led me to market and then of course the ing yielding marketing leaving super. Wishing you all a Super weekend.
Cartoon stumped me as I thought the first word was ‘great’ which stumped me on the next word!
An obvious solution if you had ‘Super’ as the first word.
