🎶 I’m INN with the INN crowd…I go where the in crowd goes…I’m in with the in crowd …And I know what the in crowd knows… At a SPOT where the beat’s really hot…Oh, if it’s square, we ain’t there…We make every minute count…Our share is always the biggest amount…Other guys imitate us….But the original’s still the greatest…🎶 “The “In” Crowd” – (with apologies to) Dobie Gray 1965 https://tinyurl.com/ycyvuxpv
🏠They did NIBBLE at the idea for years before the plunge,
Uncertainty did linger…but the dream they’d not expunge…
They SNUCK their way ‘round one ISSUE, they wrestled with another,
At times yes disillusioned…but SICKEN? They had their druthers…
And building this here B&B they now faced with finesse…
Fruition soon will be theirs…and they’ll def BE “INN” BUSINESS! 🏠
Ok…This one is so easy to NAIL down, that I’m going to make this short and sweet and then BOOK…”Small lodging establishment”?….as compared to saying B&B, or motel, or hotel, even? Gotta read INNto that Folks…That was the key…And “start taking reservations”? ROOMS TO LET the people have?…Between those huge clues…plus the tell-tale quotation marks letting us know that spelling’s about to be taken INNto ACCOUNT?… No RESERVATIONS here, Folks…David and Jeff, IMO…did plenty to BUILD their case today…You just need to read the ROOM… https://tinyurl.com/4j4t8h93 so to speak…It’s all there…They’ll BE “INN” BUSINESS soon….
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this reminds me of a friend of mine who just returned from France. He and his wife chose an adorable, bucolic, quaint B&B to stay at…Turned out the inn was purported to be haunted…They stayed one night…but hightailed it out of there right after breakfast…The place gave them the CRÊPES…🏠🙋🏻♀️
Heartbroken for the Covenant victims after another sickening, senseless shooting. Tears…and prayers 🙏🏻💔
A fairly easy Tuesday. Am travelling and don’t see regular newspaper Jumble. That said, used San Diego and didn’t see entire puzzle….just started with anagrams. Got those and then scrolled down to see cartoon Saw the INN… and blind solved the puzzle, without looking at available letters. Yes, a great way to start the day !!
Enjoyed your petite French joke.
Tks,Terry. 🙋🏻♀️
Although it has gotten to be a generally accepted word, I still get a strange feeling when I see the word “snuck” rather than “sneaked” as past tense for sneak. Looked it up in the dictionary and learned that it kind of worked its way into our language around 1970. Maybe it is because I learned language basics in the Sixties…
Prayers for families in Nashville; also those who lost lives and are displaced by storm damage.

🤷🏻♀️They knew that to BE IN BUSINESS for the long run, they’d face an ISSUE or two, and it did SICKEN them to think they’d fail, so they kind of SNUCK around the other booths, hoping to get a NIBBLE of business acumen here and there…🤷🏻♀️
🤷🏻♂️They SNUCK into the clubhouse…no ISSUE did they face,
They found some snacks to NIBBLE on, while looking through the place…
The way that they’d been treated…it did SICKEN them for sure,
It all had been one-sided since they’d walked into the door
Some nervousness prevailed now…causing a slight dizziness…
But they had to find the charter…if they would BE IN BUSINESS…🤷🏻♂️
Very cute and fun jumble ! When I saw all those B’s and S’s and E’s , I thought of the word BUSINESS and it was part of the solution ! So the letters left were I, N, N , B and lodging was an INN and that did it ! It would soon BE INN BUSINESS ! Very nice ! I’m gonna get me some tacos and celebrate ! Now the anagrams , I had an ISSUE with ! I only got the first one and the last one ! As I said about the second one , it left me SICKEN with the third anagram ! But the jumble made up for it ! Perfect song choice Angela ! So everybody have a great taco-Tuesday !!!!!
Tks, Jim 🙋🏻♀️
Good morning. Had to think awhile today except for nibble which was an instant read. No blind solve but once the letters were down it came easy. Another home run with your song choice Angela. Until tomorrow stay safe and be well.
Tks, Paul. 🙋🏻♀️
Reverse solve this morning w a quick blind solve of the cartoon w an obvious hint on ‘inn’ in quotes. But then the anagrams didn’t go as quickly w snuck and sicken looking like skunk and scenic.
Today’s fun solves just snuck up on me, yay.
Sharing your sorrow and sympathy for Nashville families 😔🙏. And for latest storm-devastated communities.
