Today we find ourselves in the kitchen of a young couple and their three- year-old, pre-school son. And on the table before him lie SHAPES…a hexagon, a square, a rectangle and a triangle…In his hand, he holds a circle…the SHAPE his Mother has asked him to TAKE from the group…And as the Father praises his son for getting it right, they both should be praised for whatever ANGLES they’ve TAKEN in helping him to learn…Which proves that their diligently working with him, TAKING the time, was far from POINTless…And hopefully soon, this kid’ll be running RINGS aROUND his peers…growing up far from being OBTUSE….Bottom LINE? Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle brings back a memory of one of my brothers…not the engineer, not the draftsman…the artistic one….With consistently weak Math scores going into the final quarter of his Junior year, my Father sat him down and asked what was wrong. My brother told him that he was terribly distracted because he was caught up in a love TRIANGLE…Concerned, my Father asked him what was going on…To which my brother answered…”It’s hard to explain, Dad…but the FOUR of us are in love”…🎤….🔺🙋🏻♀️

The news was growing DARKER…with each warning that came through…
The swimmers knew to AWAIT word that all-clear had been given,
Unable to just SHRUG it off…fear through the beach was driven

There will be no hump-day to get over today ! Only one anagram was DARKER than the rest , but I ended up getting them ! That’s a PROVEN a fact ! So after I wrote them down , I said , I will AWAIT the jumble and so I saw it and I gave it a SHRUG and a smile ! All those shapes was definitely TAKING SHAPE ! This week is becoming a nice jumble week to remember ! Only two more days till the weekend and I’m hoping that it continues as it has been ! Because I feel 🎶 here we go round in circles ! Here we fly high like a bird up in the sky 🎶 everyone have a nice Wednesday no-jump day !!!!!
Ah….the little angel is learning about angles !! So, like Jim, Wednesday was no great feat, and no Hump-Day needed to be climbed. Immediately saw SHAPE, then surmised TAKING would fit. Despite the math geometry connection, I failed to solve the cartoon, too many letters for me. Even though a retired math professor, geometry never was my favorite topic!
Cute puzzle this morning. It reminded me of my son who was fascinated with shapes when he was a little fellow. My husband made him a book with all the different shapes. His favorite shape was the isosceles triangle. I actually think he just liked saying isosceles. Enjoyed the story about you brother, Angela – a triangle of four – too funny. 😂
