    Not one to YAMMER or be cross…he managed to stay grounded…
    He fit in mostly any place, did DABBLE here and there,
    And tonight no way to SUBDUE the happiness he’ll share…
    Like threads run through a PONCHO, the bonds of kindness seen,
    O’s looked into a MIRROR…and he knows how long it’s been
    So it feels good to be with friends as they together cheer…
    The elder in the Alphabet…who’s been AROUND FOR YEARS! 🆗

    Anyway…Today we find Ourselves at a birthday party, where “O”, a very well-ROUNDED sOrt, is the man of the hOur. And yOu can BET that his ALPHA grOup Of friends are DETERMINED tO CIRCLE AROUND him tO pay hOmage…And the dialOgue Of every One of the letters here tOday ROUNDs Out the sOlve fOr us…L: “Older”, M: “haven’t changed”, and P: “befOre”…It’s spelt right Out…The letter “O” is very Old = YEARS and he’s been…AROUND (a ROUND) FOR YEARS…Yep, he might be Old, but there’s nothing SQUARE abOut him! …And sO…AnOther One writes the dust…

    Jeff’s Gems? O is wearing a TRIANGULAR party hat…and despite his age, and his need for that cane, he still SHAPES up nicely…And the cake, alOng with the birthday greeting is shOwing a cluster of three ballOOns…As fOr the candle? Just the One…sensible, since let’s nOt disCOUNT the chance of a fire if they kept it real…it’d definitely SPELL disaster!

    SO…There you have it Folks…DOne…Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle makes me think of Alphabet sOup…which I enjOy…But I always eat the vOwels first…Why? Sometimes….Give it a minute…🆗🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🧣The style of PONCHO had been AROUND FOR YEARS, and ever the FRUGAL one, she was known to YAMMER on and on about how she loved to DABBLE in retro clothing….so as she looked at herself in the MIRROR, it was hard to SUBDUE how good she felt wearing the colorful vintage item…🧣

    🤷🏻‍♀️Wrapped up in the old PONCHO, she tried to brave the storm,
    But nothing would SUBDUE the wind…so no way was she warm…
    FRUGAL and foolish not to call an Uber ‘stead of walk,
    She did DABBLE a sec or two…but as always did balk…
    She knows they’ll YAMMER ‘bout her, and a MIRROR will speak truth,
    To the fact that she’ll look a mess…it def won’t take a sleuth
    Maybe she should just turn back…spare herself the wear and tear…
    She always can go next time…this gig’s been AROUND FOR YEARS…🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. A nice little Sunday blind solve today. First puzzle word just had to be AROUND, given the celebration of the O…and FOR followed..and Marsha added the YEARS. Any Beach Boys song is always an excellent choice. We’re still musing over the Alphabet soup joke…and have already given it a minute. And to think…I think I have seen that joke before !! Oh well, we’ll see when and if it slaps us on the forehead.

    • Beach Boys…yes, always 2 thumbs up…And…LOL! Think of the phrase that’s used to teach what letters are vowels…🆗🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. From the tally listed above,I was in good company being stumped by yammer. Having looked that up, the cartoon was a quick solve.As far as your alphabet soup joke, I can’t say that I have figured it out. Can you help me out on that?

    • Prof…The “Why” in the joke was a pun on the letter “Y”…I eat the vowels first…Someone asks “Why”…”Y”…I say “Sometimes” …because we were taught…The vowels are…A E I O U…and “sometimes Y.”… Any help? 🤷🏻‍♀️

  7. Cute jumble for Sunday ! The anagrams were a challenge ! I got only 3 of them ! The first one was just being FRUGAL ! The second one was wearing a PONCHO to be disguised ! And the third one did not communicate with YAMMER ! But what made up for that was the jumble ! Describing the letter ‘O’ , since the beginning of communication has been AROUND FOR YEARS ! This was a fun Sunday jumble ! I’m ready to start a whole new week of jumbles and I’m going to be wearing my anagram hat and hope it works ! Angela the joke was great ! …..sometimes ! And loved your song choice ! And since they sang , “ I get around “ , this song came to me ! 🎵oh oh oh oh oh oh You don’t have to go ! 🎵D ‘ yer Maker ! Everyone have a great Sunday Funday !!!!!!

  8. Good morning. For the life of me I couldn’t come up with Yammer. I probably tried for at least an hour. Now the cartoon answer was easy as pie, that was solved in a matter of a minute. I had the first two words even before putting down the letters. Enjoyed the song choice. Until tomorrow stay safe and be well.
