I’m SOLEd😂! …LEATHER rip!!… Although even with the quotes, this one’s a perfect FIT…We got Ready = PREPARED…Shoes = PAIRS…Let’s face it, Folks…not much of a STRETCH here!

And we see the proprietor, MAC Casins, looking a little nervous, (but I’m sure HEEL calm down), as he asks his employees, BOOTsie and Socrates…SOCKS for short, if they’re READY for business…PREPARED for the first WALK INS…And having worked hard, hoping the styles they’ve chosen will knock the SOCKS off their customers…they’re definitely ready for whatever’s in STORE for them…They’re “PRE-PAIR-ED”! And there was no waiting for the other shoe to drop with this one…it was a SHOE-IN!

Good morning. I’m toasting myself with a second cup of coffee. I finally got my paper and breezed through the words without having to go back to any and went to the cartoon but alas, no blind solve. I took a quick break to get my second cup and studied the letters again and within a minute the answer came to me. This made up for failing yesterday. Now this joke Angela I enjoyed, this has my attempt at humor. Yesterday I was playing cards and I had an Ace and an eight and I turned around checking behind me and the guy next to me looked so I said “I’m just checking to see if anybody behind me has a gun.” He was perplexed so I said after this hand I’ll show you. When I showed him and said Aces and eights, he cracked a smile and knew what I meant. I think I have humor even if nobody else gets what I mean. I’m with you Angela all the way. Take care

Ended the week on a good footnote ! The anagrams were not in MISERY ! In fact my mind was ABLAZE ! The answers were DRAWN in the most UPPER fashion ! The with shoes being a pair was easy and I stepped into a PRE-PAIR-ED solve ! What a great way to end the weekdays with a pair of shoes that walked me straight to the answer !
