You sit and QUENCH your thirst instead of aiming and then…Bam”!?
The way it looks to me, they could have bagged that deer with ease…
But we just see them sitting…choosing ‘stead to SHOOT THE BREEZE! 🦌
So…A little side note to our characters today…”Ok, guys…here’s the deal. If you’re hunting deer, you don’t prop yourself out there in the open like a sitting duck, especially without camouflaged clothing. You’re bear-ly going to get lucky doing that. I mean, you might as well play possum if you’re going to sit DEER like that…at least you’d be quiet…’Cause the way it looks now, this deer has an eagle-eye on you two…and he’s definitely out-foxed you…And coon-er, I mean sooner than later one of you guys will realize how squirrel-ly an idea it was to just sit there like two turkeys fawning over one another…And you probably laid out a few bucks for the trip too…and with doe being so tight these days? Well it just doesn’t pay….Guaranteed your Mamas would say…”Bison, bison…let’s not make a rabbit, I mean a habit out of this”…And that Folks, ends our “Count the Hunting References” Story for today…RIFLE through the write-up for your total…

He figured it would QUENCH complaints that came from his third wife…
The only thing it did though? ERUPT…which gave her ease…

Welcome Saturday and a nice jumble to have fun and be entertained ! Yesterday’s jumble left a lot of people in the jumble family a little nervous , but today it got back to its fun and exciting one ! The anagrams were all there for me ! They wanted to ERUPT ! They totally gave me a QUENCH for my thirst ! I felt like an anagram ROBOT who just keeps it to a SIZZLE ! And the jumble , I will say had me thinking and the one word that I tried was BREEZE and that left SHOOT , and I knew that had to be it ! So thanks for letting me SHOOT THE BREEZE ! I loved it ! Me , having gone deer hunting alot in the past knew that you did talk alot between hunts ! So here’s to the end of a great jumble week and everyone have a good weekend !!!!!!

Good morning. I breezed through the words and like most times I double checked and to my surprise the second word which I had as Puter was actually Erupt. You might say I dropped the ball on that one. Now the cartoon answer was a different story, that was a blind solve. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
The lack of a real newspaper,and the multitude of letters stumped me in my attempt to solve the cartoon.No easy breezy solve for me today.
Getting to this a little late….ran through anagrams and just couldn’t place that Z anywhere. Marsha showed me the way to help with the blind solve. Glad the hunters could shoot the breeze…score one for Bambi.
Like Paul, I saw erupt as puter but got the cartoon answer and then realized my mistake. Putter, pewter, whatever – have a good Saturday all.
