Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
💎 STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND A SHARD PLACE 💎
🎶 Mmm, I don’t wanna shut you out…I don’t wanna rush around or slow down…This time, I wanna stay right here..I wanna make it CRYSTAL CLEAR that I won’t give in to the fear…🎶 “Crystal Clear” – Hayley Williams 2020 https://tinyurl.com/5n8xxdev
💎A CLOSET lapidary, Gemma’s hidden it for years,
Her SLANT on it is that she might be mocked amidst her peers…
She loves the shapes, the COLOR tones, and she is FAIRLY good,
She may reach a pro status…chances are that she might could…
(Her Southern way of speaking tends to come out here and there)…
But anyway today it seems she’s being CRYSTAL CLEAR! 💎
“Special healing powers” ..Sure. And there’s a bridge in Brooklyn that I can get for you dirt cheap…
…Anyway…Today we find ourselves at the “Come SPHERE For a Minute“ Crystal Shop, where the proprietor, Ruby, is seen speaking with our victim, I mean shopper, trying to pull the BULL over her eyes…And Gemma, taken with the “Quality of this particular TRANSPARENT form of QUARTZ”🤦🏻♀️… is heard reMARKing that it’s “free of impurities…(and she can) see right through it”…And so can we…beQUARTZ it’s CRYSTAL CLEAR! https://tinyurl.com/yzhbba38 As is this solve!
Jeff’s GEMS? Atop the showcase, which holds completed pieces and a bracelet, there’s three more crystals…along with a burning stick of incense in a holder…its smoke wafting into the air…And you know what they say,..Where there’s smoke, there’s LIAR…I mean fire…
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And when it comes to these mall “geologists”…take them with a GRAIN of HALT…They all have their FAULTS…💎🙋🏻♀️

LCROO – SLOTCE – RLIAYF: New
🤷🏻♀️By the hodgepodge of COLOR, it was FAIRLY obvious that the CLOSET had seen better days, and she intended to make it CRYSTAL CLEAR that he needed to clean it out, but was at a loss as to the exact SLANT she’d use getting her point across…🤷🏻♀️
🚪 The CLOSET door, it had a SLANT, and of course barely closed,
And one could FAIRLY say by now a problem it had posed…
Her face would always COLOR and she found that she would cringe,
When guests arrived…yet still her husband left the broken hinge…
By now she’d told him umpteenth times to fix it…did he hear?
What will it take until he gets the message CRYSTAL CLEAR? 🚪
🤷🏻♀️Gemma’s dabbled with stones here and there,
But right now let’s say buyer beware…
‘Cause she seems too impressed,
When Miss Ruby suggests…
That the gem has powers it can bear! 🤷🏻♀️
🤦🏻♀️Gullible seems to be the right word,
After what our girl Gemma has heard…
That there’s power to heal?
Will she fall for that spiel?
Doesn’t she think that it sounds absurd? 🤦🏻♀️
🚬 Ruby’s running a business that pays,
‘Cause the customers in her gems gaze…
And they’re blinded by light,
So spend money on sight…
Perhaps wrapped up in that incense haze! 🚬
💎Gemma’s thrilled that she’s able to see,
Through the quartz Ruby’s pushing on she…
And she’ll probably spring,
For a translucent ring…
Let’s just hope it’s not a shopping spree! 💎
💸 Lapidary took Gemma by hold,
And she thinks she’s found a pot of gold…
Falling for Ruby’s tales,
That allow her these sales…
It’s a shyster story long time told…💸
It’s thirsty-Thursday and following in yesterday’s shoes , the anagrams were all there for me ! I didn’t SLANT on one ! They had a lot of COLOR in them and there’s no way I’m gonna close the CLOSET ! The jumble was presented FAIRLY ! As John Nash would sing 🎶 I can see clearly now the rain is gone 🎶 ! But it did rain ! I got CLEAR , but I thought it was CLEARLY and what was left was not CLEAR , but I kept going and had to look a little , and then got it ! Very fun and CRYSTAL CLEAR ! Everyone have a great thirsty-Thursday !!!!
Good morning. I had no trouble with the words but needed help to find the cartoon answer. I thought the first word was clearly which gave me no second word. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
I want to be perfectly clear
This gemstone I hold very dear
With powers that can heal
At the price it’s a steal
It’s a lot more than what it appears!
Color got me as did the crystal part of the cartoon answer. The Cleveland baseball team had multiple rainouts during the season and may be rained out in NY today which would necessitate 4 games in 4 days if the series goes 5 games.
Tough one today. Kept thinking really or clearly would be the first word. When I realized that clear was the second word, finally figured out crystal but it took a while. Good challenge.
I appreciate your honesty. BETTY I had the same challenge today withthe answer but not bad for a 92 yr old
Hi Everyone – I had some missteps today on the way to the answer. My first thought was Fraily (frailly). I wasn’t sure if it looked right so I checked the spelling. And I was pretty convinced, like Betty, that the first word of the answer was Clearly until I could do nothing with the remaining five letters.
Only CLOSET wasn’t an instant solve. Like everyone else, I saw CLEAR or CLEARLY, but couldn’t solve it until I started putting the Y in the middle of the word. That led to a CHRYSTAL CLEAR answer.
Hi Dennis…Surprised that so many comments are mentioning CLEARLY as thought to be the first word…David’s use of the rather “wordy” ..”Transparent Form of Quartz” was phrased that way for a reason. Pure quartz is traditionally called “rock CRYSTAL or CLEAR Quartz”. He gave us that huge clue to the solve, and if you note, in my post, I followed the phrase with a 🤦🏻♀️…because it was a mouthful…But IMO, it did get the job done! 🤷🏻♀️💎
He definitely left clues. When we solve the puzzles, we don’t necessarily understand the clues until we solve the puzzle. I first tried CLEAR, but didn’t see CHYSTAL, then tried CLEARLY, and then tried the Y in the middle of the first word.
I haven’t used the letters in the longest time. But my way of solving isn’t for everyone. I think it’s much easier getting the letters and then studying the dialogue. Either way, it’s all fun. But both David and Jeff do give us a lot of clues. It just takes concentration..🤷🏻♀️
This 88 year old was able to do a blind soul and all of the anagrams within three minutes. Crystal clear pop right off in Crystal clear.
