    📕 Thinking maybe she had BITTEN off more than she could chew,
    She knew she needed privacy….a calm, serene milieu…
    If she was to finish her book, she had to be up FRONT,
    And tell her husband how she felt..she had to just be blunt..
    “I’m going to move downstairs, where I can get some peace,
    I can’t write ‘round the family, too easily within reach…
    ‘I need a CLOVE of garlic’, ‘Where is my SALMON blouse’…
    I’ll never meet my deadline with distractions in this house”…
    So she arranged an office..and became a basement dweller…
    Turned out to be the perfect place…now there’s a new BEST “CELLAR”! 📕

    Dialogue, dialogue, dialogue…Another day, another automatic READ…with so many clues WRITTEN out for us. “HIT book”, “Working DOWN here”..AUTHOR and BASEMENT in our question…not to mention those giveaway quotation marks letting us know to look for an alternate SPELLING…Pair all that with our couple being seen at the BOTTOM of the stairs?     • Late start today as we have been airborne during usual morning comments.

      Thought first word could be DOWN….gave up soon after, and completed anagrams speedily. Clever puzzle and very appropriate song. As always, good job Angela

  3. 🍣 Having been BITTEN by the baked SALMON bug, she looked for a new recipe using her last CLOVE of garlic…all the while planning to be at the FRONT of the line later today when the trendy new BEST SELLER dealing with fish recipes came out…🍣

    🐶 He saw his dog had BITTEN almost every CLOVE in sight,
    Can’t leave a thing in FRONT of this new puppy..it’s a fright…
    He made sure that the SALMON was well hidden from this feller..
    As he sat down with coffee to enjoy the new BEST SELLER…🐶

    Obviously you’ve not fought the good fight…
    Pen mightier than sword?
    Seems they’re both in accord…
    ‘Cause they each have their own way to smite! 🤦🏻‍♀️

    👍🏻 Our girl needed some space of her own,
    If her book would be etched into stone…
    So downstairs did she head,
    Where she wrote and she read…
    And she settled into her own zone! 👍🏻

    🤷🏻‍♀️A best seller’s not easily gained,
    It takes blood, sweat and tears to attain…
    Concentration is key,
    To ward off the ennui…
    And the author can def feel the drain! 🤷🏻‍♀️

    💡In the basement our girl set up shop,
    Where her family can’t force her to stop…
    In the midst of a thought,
    For a storyline sought…
    And she’s free from ideas being dropped! 💡

    📕 Was the cellar a novel idea?
    Well it did help her see her way clear…
    She completed her book…
    Maybe all that it took..
    Was ensconcing herself way down there! 📕

  5. Over the stump-hump day Wednesday ! I didn’t get BITTEN by any of the anagrams ! They were all up FRONT and a very fun CLOVE of words ! And I used to fish a lot , but I never caught a SALMON ! Now the jumble was so connected ! Where basement was said and it was an author, CELLAR came first and the BEST was the rest ! Loved it ! Had the same song Angela but didn’t know till I read yours ! Go Beatles with “paperback writer “ everyone have a great Wednesday hump-day !!!!!

    Seems the plots she created were stellar
    The ideas just flowed
    She couldn’t be slowed
    So she’ll be a permanent basement dweller!
